The quality of this mat is GREAT!! PRO TIP: It is challenging to unrole and wants to curl back up once in place. While rolled out, place weights on the corners to keep it down, then place a sheet on top of the mat and iron over the sheet. The heat will cause the plastic to be a little more pliable and remain in place. Once you've applied the heat, you can remove the weights from the corners (be sure to iron over the corners too).

Very durable and ease of installation. It will take a bit to flatten out, as it needs to adhere to the room temperture.

Works ok. Not very thick so may have a relatively short life before cracking.

My desk chair was tearing up the carpet under my desk. I ordered this to protect what’s left. It fits perfectly under my desk and chair and has done a great job protecting the carpet. It makes it easier to roll my chair under the desk as well. Will be buying another one once my vanity comes in.

this mat does the job in terms of protecting the floor and the material is fine but to suggest that this is for hardwood floor and an office chair on top of it with non slip traction on it is false. This mat moves around all over the place and does not stick by any means to hardwood floors or hard floors in general.

Takes a few days to completely flatten as it comes rolled. But smooth after that and durable

I guess I have a different idea of “low pile” carpet than the makers of this chair mat do. Even though one of the images shows the mat on carpet that looks very much like the carpet I’m using it on. I bought this thing, hoping to protect the carpet in the office of my rented house, and hoping to be better able to roll my chair on the floor. It’s protecting the carpet, but it is NOT easy to roll my chair while sitting in it. The wheels sink down and create divots that I can’t roll out of. I hate this chair mat, and I hate that I spent money on it.

Absolutely love this works really great in my new carpet it does slide. I did put the non-sliding grippers on it but it’s still slides. They should actually send you six of them instead of four.
