I can't believe these have lasted as long as they have, I think I bought these things like 3 years ago and didn't realize I hadn't left a review yet. My kids beat on these every meal, sometimes with the end of their spoons and forks, and it still hasn't torn or punctured. They're easy to wash and they don't have a weird plastic smell. I like how they grip the plates and cups so things aren't sliding around too. Great stuff here!

I purchased these placemats so my toddler would have something fun/educational to look at while waiting for her food. I love the colors, the designs, and the slight stickiness of the silicone which prevents bowls/plates from sliding around too much. However, one thing I was originally disappointed with this product was the flexibility/flimsiness—they do not stand upright at all. Because other reviews say they wash theirs in the dishwasher, I expected they would stand upright, but that's not the case. Washing by hand is a pain because there's no resistance so they end up flopping all over the sink. Then, I had the brilliant idea to wash them in the washing machine with my child's bibs. This was the golden ticket for me and changed my opinion of this product. I simply add the soiled bibs to a normal load of my child's laundry and remove the placemats before switching the rest of the clothes to the dryer. I give them an additional rinse under the faucet and let them air dry. I have done this a few times so far and the white graphics show no signs of peeling off. For some that may seem too tedious, but it's working for me and maybe others will find it helpful too.

I absolutely love these! I've been using the same green/blue set for 4 years, they've been through the dishwasher and come with us to the park, zoo, etc. since they're easy to roll up and stick in the diaper bag. Great product, highly recommend.

Just got these and I'm pretty happy. They are slightly smaller than a silicone mat we have (which my son uses). His is a children's mat by Modern Twist and while that one seems to be a better quality silicone, the price is too steep which is why I ordered these. I got these Brinware ones for my 18 month old daughter and I think they will work just fine. The silicone is more sticky than the modern twist one but that can be a good thing. The sticky surface really does allow the placemat to stick to our wood table which is important if you have a child that wants to lift it up. Her plate and bowl also don't slide around which is helpful for a young child. It will even roll back up and stay rolled bc it sticks to itself (the Modern Twist doesn't do that). Despite the stickiness I find it easy to wipe clean. The print is really cute and I think my daughter will enjoy looking at the animals. They came rolled up in a box which was crushed a bit. I suspect it happened in the mail bc it came in a bubble mailer. It's not an issue for me but if it was a gift I would be disappointed

I've only handwashed these so far but even with everyday useage they have held up perfectly. They are dishwasher safe and they stick great to our dining table VERY well. I bought it to prevent food from going into the grooves of the table. Worth the money if you don't care to use cheap plastic products. UPDATE: It's been over 3 months and these place mats (I own 4 now) have held up perfectly. I don't run them thru the dishwasher too often, but I hand wash them all the time and they look great. My kid loves the pictures and they have saved many spills of liquid from going into the grooves of our dining table. 5 Month Update: pictures are still great. I use both at the same time since it isn't one of the oversized place mats. It's held up great!

These are fantastic! I love that they come in a two pack. One stays at home on the dinner table, the other stays in our diaper bag so we have a clean surface for our daughter to eat on when we're out at a restaurant. I love how easily they wipe clean, and the print (super cute!) hasn't faded after several uses and cleans. They stick really well to wood and we really like using them. Our daughter has yet to peel them off the table, so that's a bonus! They roll up very small, so they're easily packable, and they are very tear resistant. Surprisingly strong for how thin they are.

These mats are great, they stick very well to my wood table and help protect it from my toddlers fork which was being used to make "nice" little rows of holes in the wood. They are easily removable, but he is 2.5 and mostly beyond the stage of pulling them, up so they work for us. They are very easy to clean and dry, and they roll right up if you want to store them or take them with you. He loves them and they are great for crafts and play-doh time too. I definitely recommend these!

I bought 4 of these (2 pairs) and 3 out of the 4 are ok staying flat. When they came in the package, they were rolls but bent all weird and I am still trying to get the creases out. Three of them will “stick” and lay flat on the table when I smooth them out. One of them would never do this. I tried to put it in the dishwasher to help but it only made it worse. They are dishwasher safe BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND DISHWASHER CLEANING. The creases are worse now in the one and it will not “stick” to the table at all. Most of the time just rinsing with hot water and hanging to dry will do the trick. I wish they were bigger and that is my own fault for not physically measuring it. I just wanted a more stable placemat that doesn’t just slide across the table. They also are really really thin in my personal opinion but they seem durable since I’ve tried stretching them pretty far.

Quick shipping great little mats, perfect for traveling. Only gave 4/5 as mine got a hole in it from the dishwasher after the first wash.

Great quality mats. They stick well to our glass covered wood table, clean easily and roll up into very thin rolls without flopping open or requiring an elastic. Perfect for our needs
