Bright, efficient, and reliable. Might even be cheaper than battery-powered lights in the long run, since they always seem to fail on me.

great optics
I put this on my wifes bicycle, it puts all the light exactly where it needs to be! I have a first generation E3 Triple, and this light puts out more usable light. Plus it achieves fill brightness as slow as 5-6mph, whereas my E3 Triple wont achieve full brightness until 9-10mph.

Nice light, some faults
TLDR; Nice light, some faults, pretty pricey.Pluses:- Nice and bright. The beam pattern does a great job of not putting light where it isn't needed.- Solidly constructed. Should last a lifetime.- Standlight works well.- The side visibility lighting is a nice touch.Took off a star because:- It's overpriced. The Planet Bike Blaze Dynamo gives as good of light at 1/4 the price (though, I switched to this one because of the poor reliability of the Blaze)- The mounting options are limiting. It wouldn't mount to any of my bikes without modification or an expensive adapter. For the price of the light, they should include a decent set of mounting options.- This may be personal preference, but the beam is awfully narrow. It would be fine for touring but for city riding it's difficult to see around turns.

Good product but inadequate installation bolt length and installation procedures
The light appears to be excellent and looks very attractive, I’m very happy with build quality. The only thing is the default installation bolt length is too short. When I tried to insert through the fork it doesnt come out from other end.. The length of bolt provided that short so I cant installed as of now.. There is no way I can figure out size of bolt as I cant see anywhere on manual and to be very honest I am not that professional who can understand bolt size by just looking at it. Thats why I am cutting two stars as of today. If any one know bolt size please let me know as now I have to but the bolt that comes up with longer size..

I would recommend you purchase the multi-mount that fastens the light just ...
I have use this light for a year routinely riding on country roads at dusk or night. This light always brings its "A" game. It is reliable and the quality of light is that of a motorcycle or car light. I would recommend you purchase the multi-mount that fastens the light just above the front brakes. Because the light is so thoroughly bright it attracts bugs on summer nights. The multi-mount allows the bugs to not fly into the light waist level, far better than face level. This mount also puts more light on the road illuminating dark spots like pot holes or road kill when traveling along at a nice clip. This is a generational light. It is built to last. Finally, the light shines generously for peripheral view, again, this is useful on dark roads when deer pop out of no where. Supernova builds a precise instrument called a headlight. If you are looking for a well built package to complement your ride and enable your riding experience even when the sun begins to set. One cannot go wrong with Supernova E3 Pro 2 headlight with multi-mount.
