Should be not advertised as 20 years old
The box did not present neither externally not internally any reference to the 20 years old as claimed on Amazon. I do not contest the fair quality or the vinegar but, having the box (also lightly but visibly damaged inside), the bottle and all the papers in the box, the product can't honestly be advertised as 20 year old and have not any sign of it! I can paid that price for a 20 years old vinegar not any vinegar. It was for a birthday so was too late to send the bottle back. Was a bitter purchase.

Outstanding balsamic vinegar, fair price
Outside of Italy, this is a great value for a great quality DOP grade balsamic. This is a 2-pack, the 12yr and 25 yr both. Though I have yet to open the 12 year, I have been using the Extra Vecchio and it is incredible! I expect the 12yr to be nearly as good, and I'll update my review once I actually dig into the 12yr also. I consider it like this- you are buying a bottle of very good, top notch extra vecchio (25+ yr) balsamic vinegar for a very fair price (in the USA) of $170. And you are getting a $100+ value bottle of 12yr DOP for free!

Es wäre gelogen würde ich sagen ich habe industriellen balsamico direkt einen Unterschied bemerkt. Nachdem ich diesen balsamico nun ausschließlich verwende habe ich ausprobiert wie es ist, auf den bisher genutzten balsamico zurückzugreifen. Und siehe da, jetzt wird Unterschied ganz klar.Der neue balsamico ist zwar teuer aber ist auch sehr harmonisch im Geschmack und lässt jegliche Bitterkeit vermissen. Alles ist wesentlich kompakter und wie ich festgestellt habe auch wesentlich verträglicher. Ich habe mich dazu entschlossen künftig auf diesen balsamico zurückzugreifen.Ich kann diesen balsamico auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen...
