Great product
Great quality. Much better than generic chinese counter-parts. A good alternative for my prayer rope. I guess, it will last years before broken.

I absolutely love an accurate 'click' very well built.
I need all this accuracy doing my breathing exercises and working g on my doughnut hole...my stomach.

Love this stainless steel counter, fits nicely in the hands and works smoothly.
So I’m getting older and if I need to count something I sort of forget how many there are, so in comes this handy tally counter. I had one that was made of plastic and made in China, which was awful. It lasted about 2 months before the counter started to not work. But what do you expect when it costs $1.75, I guess I could have bought another two or three, but just the thought of the waste going into the landfill was guilting me to not buy it. So this is where I got this one, and so far it has been 3 months, and it works perfectly. It fits nicely in the hand, has a very smooth clicking motion, and it fun to just play with. Clearing or resetting it is super fun to watch the numbers change over. It is so much more quieter than the plastic one, and even if I drop it, it still works. There is a nice and sturdy finger loop to make sure you don’t drop it.

sturdy and durable
This tally counter is a step above some of its Chinese rivals. It has held up well keeping track of the number of passengers getting information assistance at the airport.

quick--solid, consistent clicks, no sharp edges
Quality from another era. No play if you shake it. No sharp edges. Polished stainless steel case. The finger loop, the push button and something inside the case sticks to magnets, but the reset knob does not. The finish on the two screws and the knurled reset knob is perfect.I've only had it for a few days and 1000 clicks, but it feels solid and you can hear every click. No grinding. No hesitation. The numbers seem embossed then painted. The domed magnifier is recessed so it won't get scratched so easily. The reset to zero gives good feedback and there is no play in the knob.I just fired off 25 clicks in 6.11 seconds. The return spring is perfect. It's not waterproof, but it looks like you could open it up to clean and lubricate it if necessary.

high quality with a satisfying feel
My application for this tally counter is all about aesthetics--I wanted one that is a bit heavy in the hand, feels well machined like the dash controls in a nice car (somehow Honda manages to get this right), and has a satisfying audible click.I picked this one based on other reviews and I am really happy with it. It feels like it will last forever and feels like a tool and not a toy.

My fishing buddy
After going home a couple times after a full day on the water catching fish and trying to keep count in our heads my mother, father, and I ended up a few fish short. I guess the mental counters just aren't quite what they used to be...lol. So I found this gadget here and ordered three, one for each of us so we could hang them around our necks with a lanyard on a quick disconnect and that way all we do is click when we get one in the cooler. Now when we leave the water we can be sure that we truly caught our limit and don't end up short or have to try to hand count a cooler full of writhing fish. I looked seriously at the plastic units due to the fact that they would be hanging around our necks so I thought the lighter weight would be nice as well as the idea that water would not be as likely to damage them but in the end I read too many negative reviews on the plastic ones holding up poorly and figured in and out of a tackle box they might get broken easily. I purchased this stainless steel version to offset the rust factor and though they indeed are noticeable in terms of their weight around your neck they aren't going to choke anyone and they feel stout enough to endure stepping on one although I have not tested the theory. The tension on the counter button and rotational reset knob are stiff enough to prevent most accidental clicks or resets. They will do well for their purpose and if they hold up over a few years I will try to remember to update this post and let you know. If you are reading this somewhere in 2014 feel free to ask.
