Yummy, Chewy, and Certified Kosher
As a vegetarian, I love this stuff when I'm craving protein, as does my daughter, who does Ironman races for fun. In addition to being vegetarian, it is certified Kosher by Oregon Kosher, which is a very well-regarded regional kosher certification agency. In fact this is the only well-certified Kosher, Vegetarian Jerky I've ever seen, and it is yummy as any other Vegetarian Jerky I've tasted. I like the way you really get to chew it.

Good stuff! Whole pieces and not too spicy at all!!!
I’m not sure why there’s such bad reviews on this product. I absolutely love this stuff. It is soy curls that have a wonderful flavor integrated into the curl. It’s not like real jerky. It’s better than real jerky in my opinion. I love the chewiness and texture. Another reviewer said it was all crumbs, but I get this stuff all the time and it’s all full, long pieces and a perfect size. You do not need a spoon to eat it! Other reviewers said it was too spicy and one even said it ruined their stomach. I have a very sensitive stomach and I have never had digestive issues eating this. It does have a nice spice, but it absolutely not too spicy. I would consider it mildly spicy. I love taking this in my backpack when i go out hiking along with dried fruit, nuts, and energy shots. It satisfies my hunger and I feel like it provides some good, nutritious protein. I love this stuff. Highly recommended!!!

Very Tasty!
Best tasting tofu jerky I've tried. This is the third time I've ordered this and it is ADDICTIVE!!!!

Sooooo GOOD. My favorite jerky!!!
Flavor-wise, this stuff is reminiscent of Stonewall's jerky I used to buy back in the day - except without all the grease that Stonewall's had. Hence it is MUCH better!! I like the texture and the flavor (although I am a giant spicy heat wuss so I would like it a tad less spicy, personally - but it is not too spicy). The big problem is when I ordered a case - it barely lasts at all as it is so addicting. Makes a great gift as well. I gave two of mine away - and they LOVED it. I highly recommend!! Just wish they made a teriyaki flavor as well as that was one of my favorite flavors of Stonewall's...

I wish I could give more than five stars
This is, hands-down the best vegetarian jerky I've ever had. The flavour is amazing and honestly tastes better than the beef jerky I've had, and the texture's great too, if a little hard at times. It's a bit expensive to buy a single package, since they're like almost ten bucks, but the pack of four makes each one even out to about five bucks, which still a little expensive, but well worth it for the quality. My only complaint is that the bags are too small since I went through one in under two hours, but that's because it was so good I just couldn't stop eating it.

Yeah
I think I like the taste... I have to get over a mental hurdle to eat it because when I got it, I was surprised at the packaging because it didn’t look like the ad. The ad made it look like how super good quality actual beef jerky looks, but the packaging in real life is totally different. The coloring looks like spotted diarreah with bright, Christmas colored words sealing the deal that Sam should stick to making jerky and hire someone else to deal with anything that requires artistic skills xD Then there’s PNG’s of the jerky floating around that look like cat turds. So then when I opened the bag and looked inside, all that ran through my mind was “cat turds.” And now with every bite I feel like I’m biting into a cat turd and anytime I feel a sheen of oil on the top of my mouth caused by the jerky, I’m like... my mouth is saturated in cat-turd oil. I’m rating it five stars though because it would be easy to change the packaging. Please change the packaging. And also, please possibly make the jerky not shaped like cat turds and also not leave the oil sheen. I like the taste and want to keep eating/buying these, but without being slightly grossed out the entire time.

Just a warning to you these are very very addicting and it’s hard to not finish off one bag for you vegans that love meat but don’t want to hurt an animal

Delicious, just a little too expensive!
I've tried probably 4 different vegan jerky types (all soy-based), and this is my favorite. I LOVE the flavor of this jerky. It has a perfect blend of spices and has the meatiness of jerky without the meat. Also nails the right texture, which is very hard to do without being too dry or too wet. It beats the slightly cheaper brand (Primal, the one that sells the individually-packaged ones that are wet and a bit slimy) by leaps and bounds in terms of flavor and texture. The only downside is having to pay $25 for 4 small packages (that's a little over $6/bag). I go through a whole 4 oz. package in a few days after snacking on it a few times here and there for a high-protein pick-me-up. That said, it's much cheaper than Louisville Vegan Jerky, which is comparable in flavor/texture but has less jerky in the bag and charges more for each (smaller) bag. I only rarely buy vegan jerky as a special treat because vegan jerky is just so pricey, but when I do, Sam's Harvest Jerky is my go-to.
