This was pretty affordable and easy to install and use.

The product works as it is suppose to. However, if this fuse box is suppose to connect the wiring from an inverter to a battery on a hard-sided pop-up camper (as I needed to do), the fuse box is suppose to be about a foot (in cable length) from the battery terminals. That required me to install the box (within the positive cable) on the frame and under the LP tanks. Installing the wiring required self-treading normal-size head screws to hold the wiring clamps. The small holding screws that the company provides with the fuse box slips easily into the recessed screw cavities, however those screws that I needed to use to hold the fuse box to the frame did not fit inside the recessed screw holes. [NO FUSE BOX HOLDING SCREWS CAN COME IN CONTACT WITH THE WIRE RING TERMINALS INSIDE THE FUSE BOX or it will short out the electrical system in the camper!] What is needed to make this product more versatile for various installation needs, is a wider recessed screw cavity for wider screw heads and shanks.

Works as advertised. The one thing about this and it is not a fault of the product, but the style. Your wire must come in and out inline with the holder. 200 amps requires heavy wires, therefore the user must consider the turn radius of any wires coming in and out so that they have room to make the turn other wise your fuse cover will not snap down. I would estimate that one should have a minimum of 12 inches of space to use this, if you are making any turns with wire coming in or going out. Obviously, welder cable that is finely braded can turn much tighter than large stranded copper cables. It would be nice to see a fuse type that accepts a up to a 180 degree entry and exit. I have not see anything like this so one must give yourself lots of room, which in battery compartments is usually not available.

So far this works great as it is intended. I do wish it had a little more clearance for larger wire ends and the cover was more secure.I still give it 5 stars as it may not have been intended for the heavier 2/0 wire and cable ends keeping the cover from snapping together. If using 2/0 cable or larger with big ends you may want to find a larger holder. I wouldn't hesitate buying this for a smaller 1/0 or smaller wire and feel it would secure cover well.Packaging and delivery was great.

If your pumping some Kw, this is when you pull out out FLIR camera. Even after re-tightening. it still shows 130mv Vdrop, and is too hot to touch. This is a 200 amp fuse, and it was running 110 amps at about 60vdc. Terminations are hydraulically crimped tinned copper lugs on 00 gage welding cable.This fuse is installed as an absolute failsafe, as it is in series with a 200 amp breaker. My install is on an indoor wall, but yours may well be in your vehicle some where. While your boom box is probably not pulling 7Kw for a couple hours, you should still check all your inter-connections with an accurate voltmeter. Be safe. Cheers!

i got this item expecting it to be ALOT smaller!!....dont get me wrong i like the size it is right now! it is bigger than expected...maybe 5 1/2inches long and like 1 1/2 thick id assume...so...its beefy haha..it has a nice feel to it,nice and sturdy in the hand....but beware...its the kind of plastic that once you drop it..it could crack pretty easily....oh well...i got the ANL raptor 200amp fuses and they fit nice and snug!...comes with some screws. excited to try it out! may post an update

I like this product.

Great product!!! Fits the largest size ring terminals and 0 gauge wire with ease. Very durable, Stainless steel terminal posts. Couldn't have asked for better. This is a must have for all you car audio fanatics! Much better quality than the ones they include with their E2 1000watt amp wiring kits for sure!!!

Surprisingly useful gadget. After a second fuse physically broke I decided to install a support for the next replacement -- this holder fit the bill just perfectly.Highly recommended.

Very happy with the quality, the size of the ports on each end work perfect with 0 guage wire. For the price you can't go wrong.
