We watched the You Tube demonstration and were able to repair the barstool. The cylinder was perfect.

An older task chair was slowly sinking over the course of each day necessitating constant adjustments. This replacement was perfect and made the chair usable again. It took some muscle to remove the old one (YouTube videos were helpful) but once removed the install was easy.

I love how high this goes to change my office chair into a drafting chair, and the quality is good. However, I didn't measure the height of the little button that releases the cylinder so you can adjust the height. The button on this cylinder is way bigger than my original chair, so no matter how I adjusted it I would sink. I ended up putting a few washers on it so the button didn't get pushed as easy. Measure your button!

Great Fit, Chrome Looks Good... Replaced my Black 15" to 23" with this 18" to 28" Chrome was perfect fit gave me the extra height I needed for my work Bench. Easy to Install. As for quality time will tell.

It worked great. But way too tall, my bad on that. Easy to replace with a large pipe wrench to remove the old.

Unfortunately I am a big and tall person (6ft 4in weighing in at 290) and this piston failed just after the return window. When it worked it was a really great: it w as a strong piston that I used every day since i ordered it with very little to no sagging. Now, literally after 30 days (just missed the cut off to return by 2 days), it has failed. the chair will pop up but the gas cylinder will no longer hold me up. Now it still sits taller than the piston I got with my drafting chair but I wanted to have a chair that was closer to my standing height as I want to ease pressure off my old knees while working seated at my standing desk. If you are tall and sub 250 (and to be fair, that's a lot of people) you should be OK. But for me this just didn't work out.

Working just fine so far. One of the few places I could find a bar height gas lift. Most of them on offer here and elsewhere are for shorter desk chairs.

Worked perfectly in my Jysk VEJERS stool. Took some effort to get the old item out of the chair, but once it was out, the new one fit perfectly and performed better than the original. I thought I was going to have to throw away a perfectly good quality stool when it wouldn't stay in the up position, but all it needed was this part.

Très facile à installer. Le défi est d’enlever le vieux. Un bon 30 minutes pour retirer le cylindre en place et deux minutes pour installer le nouveau. Très satisfait du produit.
