Stenner Pump Company UCINJ38 Injection Check Valve 3/8-Inch

The Stenner Pump Company manufactures peristaltic metering pumps which produce high pressures for injection, but with a slower rise time than piston or diaphragm type injector pumps. I'm using this injection module with a Uni-dose pump. So far, so good, but I'm wondering for how long? Please skip the part about contacting the manufacturer. Stenner will correctly point out that their valve is designed to be used with their pumps, but that does not necessarily mean it won't work in other applications. Their duck-bill style check valve costs 80% less than the Uni-Dose ball-check comparable model, so it is worth a try, at least.

First off I would like to clear up some reviews,1 the 1/4 inch is for 1/4 inch tubing and the 3/8 is for you guessed it 3/8 tubing. 2.It has 2 sizes for screwing into what size T you are using from 1/4 or 1/2 .The ferrel is inside the nut you just slide the tubing inside the nut and push onto the threads then screw onto the threads by hand no tools needed . Make sure you use thread tape so you do not have to over tighten when installing into your T. This product is hands down the best one on the market. Cleaning is easy ,I put a valve on each side before an after T so I just turn them off and remove whole valve use a brush internally, rinse and replace.

This is a must needed part for me since our water system depends on chemical injection system to clean up the lake water that supplies the house. I keep extra parts on hand for replacement when the need arrives. This check valve is a great product and the prompt shipping is fast to the customer. Thanks again

In order to keep tubing in place unit must be tightened but the plastic check valve breaks, needs to be made of stainless steel or more sturdy material. Tubing will not stay connected unless you firmlytighten the fitting and the injector then breaks off.

We have a well and use this with our stenner pump to inject chlorine into our well water. Our water is so rusty and suffer smelling this does the trick. By having this chlorine drip before the water enters our hous it removes the sulfur smell entirely. This is a replacement part as they only last so long before you have to replace them. I think I got a good 2-3 years out of mine. Due to all the rust we have, it clogs it up overtime so depending on your water situation it may last much longer
