It's sturdy and looks great. I love the later brush. I will never go back to can shaving cream again!

This takes me way back to my childhood when I would watch my Dad shave. However I thought well if it doesn’t work all that well I can just leave it on my sink counter for display. To my surprise it works great and helps to soften your whiskers so you get a better shave.

Bought this a little while back, it’s a good starter set for anyone looking to get into wet shaving. The major downsides for this product are that you need to bend the razor holding portion to fit most razors and that the bowl is a little bit smaller than optimal. I will say however that the bowl does have a nice finish and holds my puck of soap well. I feel like the brush loses a hair or two every other shave so will most likely be replacing in about a year.

Black paint chips off very quickly (about 2 weeks) and the soap dish is very small, makes it difficult to get a lather. I wouldn’t suggest this item to anyone.
