We have been looking for a modern style sconce for our hallway. One key requirement was that it does not stick out too far (i.e. low profile yet slick design). We went through several different models (including Amazon's best seller). This model just blew past all of them. It ticked all the right boxes: warm light LED + black metal body + modern design + nice soft glow yet functional. Between two different sizes, we got the larger one because we wanted more visual impact. As for the orientation, we settled on a vertical installation to accentuate the simple yet elegant design. You can easily install it horizontally by rotating the metal plate. We love the multi-level design that gives this light more visual depth and dimensionality. It came with everything you need to install it, including a universal metal plate and plastic caps. It also came with a grounding wire for additional safety. Installation was pretty easy. The only tricky part was getting those small screws into the metal casing and tightening them. Much easier if you have another person holding the light while you put in and tighten those screws. Overall, we are very happy with this light. Great quality, fantastic design, and nice glow. Highly recommended.

Love the look of this light at the top of my stairs. I also like the forcibly in its design where you can vertical or horizontal.One concern I have involves it not being grounded. Unsure if anyone else noticed the light doesn’t have a ground.Maybe an actual electrician can chime in and let us know how dire that is.

I wanted this light to illuminate a dark hallway. I got exactly what I wanted. Looks good on the wall; gives out a clear, bright light.

This is perfect if you want a decorative touch to your wall. Only wish it was brighter and provided more light good entrance way light

Very high quality

This item is cool, minimalist, and looks great on the wall. Problem is that it blew up. It was not working (after installed two months ago), so I had my electrician inspect. He showed me where it blew (see photo) and the black on the inside of the walls. Needed much more repair work than the look is worth. And we could have died!!!When I called, the nice man from another country gave me a credit. When I suggested he elevate this to whatever department ensures others do not have the same issue, as to remove it from Amazon. The advisor said they had no system in place. I asked, "is the only way to see if others have this problem to write a review?". He replied, "correct sir". And here I am. Have a nice day?

This light has a clean look. It is smaller than i expected. But that’s on me. My issue is the brightness. I am not sure what the best place for this fixture to be. I should have photographed it before i returned it. It is not dimmable and its a very white light that projects out without actually illuminating an area. Nice looking light but advise buyers to take a close look at what kind of light this provides.

This was such a cool style. Easy to install. The colors is great.
