Worked for laundry, when laundry pre-spotters didn't!
I don't prepare a lot of food that requires frying or browning, but sometimes I can't avoid it. I usually try to remember to wear a full apron, but that still leaves the sleeves uncovered - plus I don't always remember the apron. That is not the main laundry issue for me, however. My husband has very dry and sensitive skin, and it has gotten more so as he has grown older; and of course winter in the Midwest, with forced-air central heating, is really tough even on normal skin. So, my husband frequently goes to bed with all sorts of face and body creams on, which he doesn't always rub in thoroughly (I do use a heavy-duty alpha-hydroxy hand cream at night, but always wear cotton-spandex gloves). I've had SOME trouble with getting grease spots out of sheets in the past, but we currently have one set of sheets that is a very nice dark taupe color, and that really seems to ATTRACT and retain any grease. Tried the laundry pre-spray products I usually keep on hand, with so-so results. Bought some more heavy-duty ones online, and they did better, but some really smelled AWFUL. This stuff does have SOME odor, but because of my husband's sensitivity, I double-rinse everything anyway, and the finished laundry has no odor (most other laundry products I use are totally fragrance-free). This product works great if you spray it right on the greasy area, and even if I miss SOME areas, it does improve them (but does not completely eliminate them). So, for grease on laundry, this is the best stuff that *I have found.

Amazing cleaner!
My wife has been using Shout to pretreat my oil and grease stained work clothes. It works better than any other pretreatment out there, until now. I used this cleaner for the first time and my high-vis shirts came out as bright as the day I bought them. Not one grease/oil stain remained.

The best oil stain remover I've found
I didn't expect this to work as well as it does. I have a driveway coated in a resin product (with various designs on it). Although this coating was supposed to be impervious to most stains, oil and other fluid leakage from my truck did stain it. I tried power washing and a number of other oil removal products on it - but the most they did was to lighten the stain. But I tried this on one section of 2-3 old oil stains (sprayed it on and then scrubbed with a plastic brush) and it removed them completely! I am sttill shocked it worked so well. The only down side is that now that section of my driveway is as clean as new and it makes the rest look really bad. So - I've got a bunch of cleaning ahead of me!

Multi Uses
Used to clean my outdoor gas grill. Warmed up the grill, sprayed on, let it sit for a while, then rinsed off with a hose. I previously used on a stone patio to remove grease from it and it worked well.

Cleaned driveway from recent oily tire tracks after road was chip sealed
I am so impressed with this product. The dirt road in front of our house was recently chip sealed. The bitumen (black oily substance used to chip seal the roads) ended up with a puddle at the end of our driveway from a low spot in the road and a recent rain. After someone drove into our driveway after driving through this wet black oily puddle, we had a long black tire mark that looked terrible. I ordered this product and cleaned it up the ugly black bitumen oily splash marks and tire marks several days after the stain occurred. All the stains were removed. I've never seen a product work like this before. I highly recommend and would buy again.

not so much
I just gave a review for the orange "oil eater", was told by a friend that it removes water spots off of windows,(I wasn't sure which oil eater the friend was talking about, so I purchased both) it does not..its an ok cleaner, but too expensive for what it does.We did use it in a capet shampooer, and it worked ok, so guess for the price of carpet shampoo, and diluted as told, it works good. Its a good cleaner, just too expensive, 409 works as well.(although I don't use 409 in my carpet shampooer.)

The best degreaser. Period.
Got grease? This is what you need. My wife has a food trck and grease gets everywhere. This is the ONLY product I've used that works every time. Spray it on stainless steel - grease comes right off. Also works GREAT as a pre-wash for my clothes that get grease in the truck. Also on the window of our ovens. I have run out of this and purchased other degreasers - none work as well. Stay away from the big box brands. I always come back to Amazon where I can get Oil Eater.

Oil Eater Degreaser
I have used this product for 17 years now. I used to purchase it at Costco until aboout 3 years ago when I found that Costco no longer carries this product. I looked and looked to see where else I could purchase it and was so glad that I found I could do so through Amazon. I use Oil Eater Degreaser on everything. I use it full strength. It is wonderful for cleaning garage floors and cement. It is fantastic for removing stains from laundry (White or Colored Clothing, I spray directly on the stain, then put a cup full in washer along with my laundry soap). I use it to clean my range, oven, tubs, showers, toilets. I use it to clean the carpet in my truck and spot clean the carpet in my home. I dread the day that I will not be able to find or to buy Oil Eater Degreaser, as far as I am concerned, there is No Better Product on the Market. And it is Non-Toxic and Non-Corrosive. I highly recommend it to anyone for Any of their Cleaning Needs. Joyce Wafford
