Quality product. Attractive and easy to use.

I’ve owned a Peugeot grinder before (they sell cars too?) and it finally wore out. I tried another brand but returned it as the mechanism was cheap and the grinding erratic. Hoping to enjoy this for years!

Functional, but my wife finds it difficult to twist. Otherwise, so far so good.

The mechanism is worth the extra money for a Peugeot.

Feels nice in the hand and easily adjustable but won’t stay on chosen adjusted coarseness. As you grid it loosens so much you have to re-adjust before you’re done! Expected a lot better (salt grinder doesn’t have this issue)! Did not come pre-filled with peppercorns (fine by me) as other reviews stated, but the packaging is still lax (only a plastic sleeve in a box). So the mill did have a dent on it on arrival. Peugeot, fix your packaging!! Even a foam sleeve would have prevented denting. Also fits less peppercorns than expected - I got the 7” and it fits half the contents of a trader joes pepper grinder.

This highly regarded pepper mill arrived in an Amazon box with an inflated plastic shipping “pillow” but unfortunately NOT in its own smaller box meant to house the mill. The metal nut (with “P” for ‘Peugeot’ emblazoned on the top of the nut) had come off the internal spindle and the pepper corns were strewn all over the inside of the Amazon shipping box. The wooden head which turns the spindle was dented with the impression of the threaded spindle, marring the beauty of the wood grain. The mill works perfectly and I have (mostly) gotten over my original reaction to the pathetic shipping standard of this vendor. They really deserve a zero star rating for stupidity and utter laziness. Anyone reading this far into the review is muttering, “you could have sent it back!” True, but I could just as easily have dented it letting it slip out of my hands and would have lived with it just the same. In some silly way it is more satisfying to me just to keep it but not let the vendor off scot free. We’re even now. My hope is you will have a little talk with the culprit in the back room and not let it happen again. A beautifully crafted product marred by terrible shipping protocol.

If you love fresh ground pepper, THIS IS THE MILL FOR YOU! Mill has easy settings for different size grinds, from fine to course. Excellent quality, Beautiful in the hand. If you are looking for a high quality pepper mill, look no further. GET THIS!

This pepper-mill showed up totally unpacked dropped in a box loose and was not half full with peppercorns as advertised.Luckily it wasn’t dinged/damaged during transit. Disappointed no peppercorns. For the price it should be carefully wrapped and filled with pepper.
