Great moisturizer recommended by my Dermatologist.

I have medium olive tone skin that is very oily with a few slightly drier spots. Being in Florida and not always being good about wearing sunscreen I thought I would try this. I honestly can't see much of a difference after 3 weeks. Granted I only use it in the evening before bed. When waking up my skin is like and oil slick. This isn't something I can use during the day. Maybe if I had a way to take one of those UV pics before and during to see if there is a change. But I haven't noticed a difference in the freckles or darker age spots on the surface.

I don’t know that “rich” is the first word that comes to mind when I use this cream. It IS incredibly smooth and soft, and it melts into my skin beautifully! But I would consider this a midweight product with a very creamy consistency. It isn’t heavy or thick, and definitely not greasy at all. It feels great and really hydrates my thirsty skin for hours. And it doesn't just moisturize. Photozyme was actually developed and designed to protect and help repair facial skin from UV damage.I love the design of the jar, too. It is heavy and solid and feels really good in my hand, and the top is almost mirrored. The product listing seems to have been updated since I ordered it, so there is a lot more information about this product now, which is great. Unfortunately, the information that is still missing is whether or not this product has been tested on animals. i couldn't find that information anywhere, so I wrote to the company and received a lightning-fast response to say that Photozyme never tests their products on animals and they do not hire any third party to do that dirty work, either. Their products are 100% cruelty-free (and the company is very responsive and professional!) Whoo-hoo!!This face cream is expensive, but I think it is worth it. It leaves my skin feeling unbelievably smooth and happy. It is certainly one of the best face creams I have tried in the last year or ever. There have been reports of uncommon reactions to phenoxyethanol being quite rarely linked to eczema and strong allergic reactions. Phenoxyethanol use is often strongly discouraged by safe cosmetics advocates to be used around infants including those who are breast feeding. While the target market for this product is not likely to be young mothers, grandmothers love to hug their grandbabies and studies indicate this preservative should be avoided around the youngest of children. This PHOTOZYME ultra rich anti-aging facial cream has all the heavy duty elements of anti aging face cream, so I expected something a bit heavy. It is rich but actually absorbs right away and doesn’t feel like it’s leaving any heaviness behind. I’m middle aged with combination skin with some daily irritation from the mask wearing. This cream didn’t cause any further problem and soothed down the flaky dry cheeks right away. It’s unscented so both men and women can use comfortably.

I rate this cream highly because it does not have any scent toIt. It also white but applies clear, and absorbs almost instantly. It doesn’t leave my skin oily nor shiny. My skin doesn’t feel sticky nor heavy. It did not make me break out nor have any type of negative reactions. Great ingredients are within this cream. My skin feels very soft and more moisturized. Fine lines looking finer and less visible. I was a little taken aback however, that there was no sealing involved when i opened it.

This is a very expensive cream at $100 and sadly I can’t really say I am a huge fan of it. It comes in jar that is not very impressive to be honest. The cream itself doesn’t have a particular fragrance but just smells of the ingredients itself, so to me that was not a plus to be honest. The cream it supposed to help reduce UV spots.The cream itself is a medium weight but absorbs fairly quickly. There was some oily residue that took a little bit to go away so I would recommend this cream for evening use because of that. So maybe I just don’t have enough of the damage or maybe I didn’t use it consistently enough, or I am not observant enough but I just couldn’t tell if it really did what it is supposed to do. And at that price I really would hope to see something? For that I am just giving this an average.
