Great to have available when you need a small pan.
This pan is so handy for cooking or reheating small quantities of food. Food doesn’t stick and pan is easy to wash.

The first ever non-useless fry pan for hikers and campers
The rock personal fry pan is the best solution for personal frying on the trail or in camp. It has a stream lined handle that can take a carabiner. I tend to despise all cooksets sold and labled for hiking and camping since the frypans included in them are unfit for any use except perhaps as a cats waterdish. The Rock pan can not be considered an ultra light pan, but it is small, durable and correctly shaped for serious cooks. If i harvest some yummy wild mushrooms and onion grass when im on the trail, i want to be able to fry them up with ease right there on the spot. This pan will balance on an alcohol stove but it would be best to keep one hand on the handle at all times. It also fits nicely on the MSR rocket stove with ease. I have included a picture with both stoves in use. The bottom is thickened and does not seem prone to warping over moderate heat. There is a lot of hype over whether this rock pan is truely nonstick or not. In my experience i have cooked eggs (both fresh, and dehydrated powdered eggs) without any oil at all. At those times it seemed as if the eggs wished they could stick... they tried to stick....but never actually succeeded in sticking. When I then cooked by adding 2 raindropped sized drips of oil inro the pan; then the egg cooking was even smoother, as well as the clean up. This pan practicaly cooks and cleans itself. I love it! The handle stays relatively cool. The handle is attached in a strong clean way, high up enough that food wont lodge there and bactieria wont harbor. There are no angles nor sharp edges either. I feel confident that I am NOT poisoning myself when i cook on this pan because it does not have any non stick coatings sprayed or melded onto it. (There is NO such thing as a non stick coating that is truly safe for human health)This pan seems so durable that you could probably stuff it as it is into a backpack and not worry about scratching or bending it but i made a little reflectix cover for mine just to keep it clean. I can store a spatula and some paper towels right along with it in the belly of the pan.If you found this review helpfull, please press that helpful button to say thanks.

Nonstick for a year then use drops of oil forever
Very low cleaning effort and healthy cookware (none to little oil needed). I've been using 2 of these pans for 5 years. They were half-price back then. Nonstick here means no oil is necessary. Yes, the nonstick fails after 1-2 years. When that happens I add a couple of drops of oil, spread it with the corner of a napkin, heat the pan for a minute, and it's back to perfectly nonstick for eggs. It's the only ceramic pan I've seen with this quality. The best part is that it's a nonstick pan that is dishwasher-safe. However, I place these on their side on the top rack and the part that meets with the stream of water has worn off somewhat, something I ignore since it doesn't touch food.Note to manufacturers: Consider offering a bakeware version with mini side handles so that I can fit two in a toaster oven. We don't need to babysit single-serving baked frittatas like we do omelets over a stove and silicone bakeware takes an age to cook. These pans would be perfect.

I've had 6 of these.
This is a great pan for frying eggs until the non-stick fails. Looking back at my Amazon purchases, I've had six of them over the years. My purchases have been about a year apart, so that's about how long the non-stick will last.

Only suggestion I would have is a folding handle
This is a small pan, great for one, passable for two. Don't expect to cook a family meal on it.VERY sturdy, both the pan finish and the pan and handle. Only suggestion I would have is a folding handle option, or even some sort of detachable handle option so it would be less likely to fall off a small stove.Price is more than outstanding. Great buy! 4 or 5 stars.

Best one-egg pan I’ve had
Awesome pan for one-egg situations- I’ve bought 2 and I’ll be sad when I get an induction range and can’t use them anymore. The light aluminum heats up and cools down quickly and the non-stick surface is 2+ years durable and effective. For a cheap pan it’s an outstanding value.

Best pan I've ever used.
Yes, it's small but it'll do 3 eggs scrambled no problem. Eggs just slide out with clean-up being a simple paper towel, rinse and dry.
