They do not fit a "standard" 3in. lamp post.
Contrary to the advertisement for these items, a 3in. lamp-post will not fit into, or around, these pier mountpost bases. If, in fact, post lamp posts are 3in. "standard" diameter, then one is led to believe the post will connect into or around the base - it will not! The rate features below do not apply since the dimensions are totally incompatible with a "standard" 3in. post. In all honesty, I have purchased these 2 through Amazon, and one other from Wayfair, none of them fit my 3in. Westinghouse lamp post.
