Best guide to understanding the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit often gets less attention when studying and understanding the Trinity, but Anne Graham Lotz makes this all important blessing, counselor, guide, etc. so very accessible, knowable and demonstrates the ever present indwelling of the Holy Spirit in such a way as to help anyone in any circumstance know the comfort, guidance, presence of our very, very real here and now Comforter a reality in our day-to-day life. Anne Graham Lotz speaks to the reader in a loving and inviting style that encourages any one of any level of knowledge and faith to embrace the Holy Spirit as He embraces you.A must have book for any library and frequent reference to sustain us through the highs and lows of life.

This Is a REALLY Good Book!
This is a REALLY good book! If you are curious about the Holy Spirit and how He can be a huge part of your life then this is the book for you! This is not a book on doctrine or theology but even better, it's a book where the author shares small parts of her life and how the Holy Spirit has been there for her. Every chapter in this book is rich with instruction, and education, the author shares examples from the Bible, she goes over the characteristics of the Holy Spirit, and she shares how to take an inventory of your life and ask yourself, have you surrendered things in your life to His authority, plus so much more!Your relationship with Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit will change! I knew that I didn't know very much about the Holy Spirit and I was eager to learn more. I kept saying to myself I didn't know that! I didn't know THAT! Oh man, I didn't know that either! Wow! I am so grateful for Anne Graham Lotz and her sharing her life experiences with the Holy Spirit and her knowledge of Him and writing this beautiful book. It has changed my life. For someone who feels alone a lot I don't feel that way anymore! When I read the dedication at the beginning of the book I didn't get it...but now I do! This is a book you will want to read a second and third time because it holds a wealth of information to help you grow and change! I am for sure reading it again and AGAIN! There is so much to learn from Anne's experiences! I appreciate her sharing them with me!

Everything I had wanted to know and more!
This wonderful book by Anne Graham Lotz should be read by every Christian, new or not. I have been a Christian for over 50 years, and grew up in the Christian faith but very little was ever said about the Holy Spirit (a term I prefer to Holy Ghost and evidently Anne does too). I never could figure out what the Holy Spirit did or how to know if I was filled with the Holy Spirit. No one ever really talked about it; I guess you were just supposed to know. All I knew was I never had flames dancing above my head, a wind rushing through the room, or talked in tongues. I thought the Holy Spirit came and went and I for one couldn't tell much difference. Anne makes it very clear in these pages who the Holy Spirit is, what He does for us, and so much more. I was given an ARC to read and ended up ordering a copy for a friend. I was going to let her read mine, but it was so marked up with insights of mine and points I especially related to, I thought she needed her own copy to mark up as she liked (and I hardly ever write in books!). Although the entire book is important to read and not skip over, the appendices are perhaps the most important part, especially Appendix B if you are not a Christian. Anne weaves her own story of losses (her husband, father, the loss of health with her battle with breast cancer) through the book as illustrations of what the Holy Spirit has done in her life during these times. If you don't read any other Christian books besides the Bible, read this.I was given the ARC by the publishers for an honest review, which I have given here.

Jesus In Me- Thankful and Grateful for these words of hope in a painful, lonely time of my life.
Nothing in life happens by chance and all things good and bad we go through are either for our strength or our learning from the creator who has it all planned before we ever existed. When I opened up Jesus In Me and seen the dedication to the lonely I knew that God guided me to find this to remind me the hard things including my father's recent death I was going through was going to be both strength and learning for me. As I read page by page I am overwhelmed in the best way with the presence of hope, wisdom and truth. Honesty and Hope don't often go hand in hand in this world of chaos but it is found here in these pages. I love the appendixes at the end of the book! an unexpected treasure they are. Jesus In Me is definitely a keeper book and one I recommend reading if you find yourself in a hopeless, painful spot in life that you want to reach out in faith but don't know how, just open up the book and keep an open mind to learning because we all are learning and sharing with each other, that's life, love and just being human. The Holy Spirit is a constant companion, this I do know. When I don't feel him as strong in me, I still know he is working for my good, that when he guides me to someone, or something I don't question it, I just accept it, as the gift and often times miracle that it is. Jesus In Me was both a gift and miracle of hope for me, and I don't use the word miracle often. Amen.

Excellent book!!
This was a very well written book about the Holy Spirit active in the believer's life. Though I felt I knew a lot about the Holy Spirit before reading it, my knowledge was definitely expanded by exploring deeply the many facets of His character and work, supported by specific scriptures. The book was filled with so many personal examples in Anne's life and in the life of her family too that I felt better acquainted with all of them. The writing style was riveting and drew me in such a way that I didn't want to stop, even when I knew I needed to spend time thinking through what she'd just written. I often read short portions to my husband that I couldn't wait to share.I particularly enjoyed reading about the Holy Spirit's power of transformation, particularly in the lives of others as taught in chapter 13. Appendix D about the Gifts of the Spirit was also rewarding and thought provoking. This book is one that I'll want to reread again, as the truths there reflect the timeless truths in the Word of God that I can't get enough of. I would highly recommend it!

Wonderfully Written
Anne has such a way of bringing your right into the book to experience what she is working about. I wanted a book to help me understand the Holy Spirit and how he works on me. This book is that explanation! But it, Read It, live it!

I worked with Anne Graham Lotz's father as a Christain Police officer at Mission England 1984.
The book is very interesting and instructive but that is what I would expect from Billy Graham's daughter.

When we see Jesus we shall be like him!
Anne has written beautifully about the Person of the Holy Spirit. As believers on earth we would not know Jesus without the continual availability of his Holy Spirit.
