We are Canada's Boot maker. It's been that way since 1910. Deeply ingrained in our approach is the knowledge that where we put effort, we find pride, sweat, hard work, good planning, smart thinking, determination to overcome - we celebrate these moments of progress. They can be simple everyday moments - or steps toward collective accomplishments. In this spirit, Kodiak makes boots for the men and women who push forth. Who beat a path to their workshops, worksites and factories everyday - no matter what. The ones who keep going because the desire to see what's down the path or around the corner pulls them ahead. Those who dig in, reach out and find a way to move forward. Because progress matters more than achievement. And progress only happens when we're in it together.

Initially impressed but
Needed some serious work boots and bought these as well as the Timberland Hightower pro both in 8” composite toe. I’ve never owned either brand. After reading reviews about running large I got the Kodiak in size 6 and timberland in size 6.5. My foot is an exact 6 but sometimes I wear a size 6.5. The kodiak ran a little bit big, in a 6 I still have some room which is perfect so they do run a little big. The timberlands in 6.5 are too big so they must run true to size. So now to first impressions and comparison right out of the box. I was initially impressed with the quality of the kodiak. From shoelaces to sole to eyelets to color and leather, they look better quality than the timberlands. But the composite toe is stiff and bulky, you can see it’s a composite toe which looks very ugly. They definitely feel insulated and the flap that pulls down exposing the felt is very cute for a woman’s boot. They seemed more premium to me than timberlands and they’re both imported. I will admit that the timberlands felt extremely comfortable even in composite toe, much lighter like a sneaker but had scuffs right out of the box and they didn’t look like returns. The kodiak is heavier and stiffer feeling even in the footbed. After inspecting more I noticed something wonky on the seam of the kodiak where the sole meets the side of the boot and it makes me nervous.I might try the soft toe version and see if that’s a better construction. I wear my shoes and boots hard and I am not sure either boot is worth this price. If the kodiak was $100-$120 I’d say ok but for $150 I’d rather pay another $50 and get something made in the USA. I hope I’ve help clarify about sizing at least. If you’re a half size I would try rounding down as they’re a little big.

Great Boots! Love Them!
I work at Costco in the Deli and driving a Forklift/EPJ. I’m required to wear steel/composite toe while driving, and non-slip in the deli. With the deli being always cold, these boots have kept my feet warm and comfortable. And really are non-slip. They are comfortable boots to wear for long periods of time and look good too! I got a size 7 which is the same size I wear in sneakers. First time putting them on they were a little snug, but I wear thick socks. After a day or two, they were no longer tight and the perfect fit!

Wonderful boots!
I wanted to make sure I gave these boots a review because when I was looking I couldn't find any reviews and it made me hesitate to try them. That being said, I'm very glad I took a chance. These boots for true to size, if you want to wear thick winter socks or layers, go up a size. I've been wearing just normal socks with them, or some alpaca socks and my feet have been staying toasty warm while I work (it's in the low teens this week)They were a bit stiff upon first wear, but even just after a few days I broke them in with no issue.Highly recommend these

And it's been two weeks since I dropped it off to return and still haven't received my refund!
Fit like a man's shoes when it says it's womens sizes!

Great farm boots
They fit a bit snug at first but definitely form to your feet. Warm in the winter and not too hot in the summer. I work on a farm milking cows but also hike and set up fences in these boots. There’s definitely enough support for not too intense hiking.
