6.5 feet of light NOT 10
Lasted 1month.Put these on my toddler's balance bike. He was riding pretty much a straight line. 5 blocks in we noticed most of the lights went out. Bummed.Pros:Bright lights (white)Easy to wrap around bike & weave through basket slotsCons:Short! Advertised as 10 feet long. Only 6.5 feet of light written right on box. Barely long enough for toddler bike (see photos)

Easy to Install and Bright
Love, love, love these lights. They are super easy to install, and the colors (I chose rainbow) are so pretty! They show up wonderfully in the dark, and I feel like such a "cool kid" when I'm riding in my neighborhood at night. The batteries are easy to change out as well. The only thing I wish they included is more than one plastic tie-down. On the eve of my 14th birthday, a brake cable came off my handlebars and dropped into my spokes, while I was going down a hill. I flew over the bike and broke my arm*, so I am a little paranoid about things coming off my bike.*after coming home from the hospital, my parents let me open one of my birthday gifts early. It was Billy Joel's album The Stranger. (I'm super old). At least I had Billy Joel to comfort me as I sat there in pain with my cast on. I still love that album, although I the don't care for rest of his music! (Sorry to any BillyJ fans).

More Than Just Lights For Bikes
I love these bike lights which I use for other things. I'm familiar with this brand because I've bought it at a big box store before. I attend cons and my mobility scooter has it's own costumes. One of the costumes is a red dragon. The last con I attended I put a string of these red lights in the mane my dragon mask has and it made the head stand out even more. With this discovery, I went ahead and bought this set of lights to wrap around it's tail. Worked like a charm and looked great. These lights come with a velcro strap to hold the battery box in place. I was able to use the velcro to secure the battery box under the base of the tail. The only con about these lights is with the battery box. You will need a phillips screwdriver to open it to place the batteries in. It takes 3 AA batteries. Other than that, these are a great accessory.

Three strings experienced the same failure of 2/3 of the lights
This is the third set of Brightz CosmicBrightz LED Bicycle Frame Light I've purchased in the last 3 years. The first set was had a battery pack that required opening and closing with 4 small screws. I used it a few dozen times over the course of a year and a half before 2/3 of the lights in the string failed. The second set had a hinged clamp system on the battery pack. It lasted about 3 months before 2/3 of the lights in the string failed. The third set has the same battery pack, but 2/3 of the lights in the string failed before I could even install it on my bike! The wires are not loose, so it seems there is an inherent flaw in either the design or the manufacturing process that connects the circuits.I don't expect battery powered lights to last forever, but given the minimal use, I do expect them to last a bit longer.

Great when Camping!
We recently purchase a used pop up camper. My daughter loves to bring her bike when we camp because we live on the side of a hill and she doesn't get to ride as often as she would like. At first letting her ride around after dark would make me nervous. I got these and the ones that go on the wheels and now all I have to do is look up and I know exactly where she is at all times. She loves them as well. Great idea! Really fun on the fourth of july as well. All the other kids think its the coolest bike ever!

Disappointed but works
I first saw this at Walmart so I bought it as an impulse and it was a good light at night. They only had one color at the store so I bought this one and it's a totally inferior design. This one is much more difficult to install because of the small screws you have to deal with to change batteries. This cases does NOT seam water-tight at all.The other one has a self closing mechanism that's much better and is lined with a rubber gasket. This one has nothing. This one uses velcro which sucks when wet and breaks down. The other one had a simple tight rubber strap closing that worked better and easier than dealing with 4 tiny screws.Same company for sure just different designs and it's hard to shop and see a difference because there are no model numbers either.Bottom line there is a better version available and this one IS NOT IT.

Terrible connection design
Bought this for kids to install on their bikes. 1) the wire from the battery pack to the lights falls off constantly and needs to be reconnected. 2) The battery pack itself would occasionally fall from the bike because it's trick to secure them on the bike frame and it tends to be unstable. The lights are good at night, kids love them. But the design flaw is frustrating.

Great When it Works
It was great when it worked. I used this in conjunction with the wheel lights and it was great. Unfortunately, unlike the wheel lights; these lights do not have any casing whatsoever. They are just bare wire with LEDs on them and connected to a power supply/control console. They were great for a few months until one of the wires snapped, after that it only worked from the the power supply up to that point. I had my friend solder the wires back together, but a few weeks later a different area snapped. I am planning on using clear heat shrink wrap on it and see if that helps. I will update this if it does.
