Best Dog Comb
Been showing dogs for almost 60 years. Mostly Pembrokes and Cardigans. Love these combs for my dogs' double coats, combs out the dead hair really well. If you haven't combed out your dog's coat in a long time, the coat will be difficult to comb out and your dog will not appreciate your neglect no matter which comb you use. This comb will make it easier and slightly less painful for your dog than other combs, including Greyhound combs. If you keep up with your dog's grooming, you will love this comb. I don't have Poodles or doodles or drop coats (Maltese, Yorkies, etc...) so I don't know if this comb will work well on those types of dogs.

Good for dematting my Golden Retriever
I used to work at a pet shop and one of my groomers recommended using this comb instead of any other dematting devices. She used to have some herself, along with all the other tools she would also use. If you are not a professional, your pets will be safer with this one, trust me. I have a 10 year old Golden Retriever and her ears and armpits can get really messy. Now that we are staying more at home and not taking her to the groomer as much, I decided to finally buy the comb and do more of the work myself. I gave her a full groom the other day and the comb was just perfect!Pros: Great for dematting, doesn't hurt the dog, fair price, sturdy.Cons: None really. I should have bought it sooner. Also, I am not sure why there are some reviews saying this is a fake. Maybe it was an older listing and things got mixed up? The comb I got looks exactly like the ones I used to sell at the pet shop, and we would get it from big pet store suppliers, so no way it was a fake.

Great Product
This comb is just what I needed for my Cavachon. It's very well made. I had a 5" comb for many years and wanted a larger one just like it. Well, it turned out that this larger comb is the same brand. I didn't know until I received it. I read so many reviews on combs trying to decide what to get. So many reviews of other combs said that they were cheaply made and the teeth were falling out. Well, this one is well made and I don't see how it can lose any teeth. My smaller 5" comb is still like new.

Works to remove matted clumps on a long-hair cat
My senior-citizen kitty recently developed some matted clumps in the fur along her spine, She has some arthritis and I think she is starting to have some trouble grooming herself. I thought about trying to cut the clumps out of her fur, but I was afraid I would cut her skin. After reading about this comb and another one on a cat forum, I decided to give it a try - I figured if it didn't work, I would ask the vet to shave her on our next visit. Once the combs arrived, I alternated back and forth between the two of them, working a little bit at a time, over a few days. It was slow going, but eventually it worked. I'm very pleased! I will post this review under the other comb as well. Probably someone looking to save money could get by with purchasing just one or the other - they both work well.

Two sizes for different types of fur
The attached photo shows the comparative size difference in the two combs. Both are excellent, and I use both when grooming my two small (18 lb.) dogs. I think the size to choose depends more on the dog's fur than his overall size. One of my dogs has very thick, wavy hair, and I need the larger comb for him. My other dog has fine, silky hair and the small comb is best suited for her. The small comb is also best for both dog's faces because of its maneuverability. (The wider spacing on the small comb is the same as the fine spacing on the large comb.) I have found both combs to be very sturdy, able to pull through tough mats without bending, while also gentle to sensitive skin. The small comb came with a loop attached to one end, but I cut it off because it was in the way.

Fantastic little comb
This is a strong comb for a minimal price. Won't find this at the box stores at this price. It's one of those tools that last forever (if you don't lose it). I used one on my curly, beauty bichon fries. Now I have a poodle with extremely thick, curly hair. I groom him myself and use only a human strength blow dryer, rather than a high-powered dog dryer (which my dogs tolerate but it does stress them). So the comb helps level out all those little curls and you get a far smoother cut. It's minimal size is a plus (no huge ergonomic handle like so many tools have been ruined by). Simple, effective, inexpensive, nice quality and strong. Like nothing else out there to use in order to get the smoothest trim possible.

Better for my beard than my dog
Bought it for my labradoodle, but her hair was too coarse for it, that's the only reason for losing a star.... Works amazing for my beard tho! Glides through nice and feels good on my face.

Good
Why did I wait so long to get a comb?? This metal comb is much better than the plastic one I had - that broke!Gets through knots real good and helps with some of the matting

Great for macrame
I purchased this comb as a macrame comb instead of a dog comb, and for this purpose it works wonderfully! Brushes out the rope very easily. If I needed to, I wouldn’t mind using this on my dog either!

Quality.
Bought this for my new puppy, only it will be for her once she is grown. Nice weight and ease of use.

So far so good. This is a product that takes some time to use to tell whether or not it will hold up but it looks good, feels good and is a nice weight.

Great for getting out undercoat and tangles
Like the size and depth of the teeth. This comb works well for undercoat, loose hair removal. Frequent use prevents mats that can form underneath the top layer of fur.
