Archeon Tarot

I am a newcomer to the Tarot field, and this is the first deck I have purchased. When I saw the cards, I knew right away I had to get them. I have read through all of the reviews, and although I don't know much (yet), here is my own review:-The cards are beautiful. The nudity is not terrible, but it is abundant. I love every image in this deck; I feel as though if I had the time, I could spend hours looking at them.-The cards are a little large for my hands, but that is nobody's fault. I just have small hands I guess! I knew they would be larger than playing cards, I just didn't expect them to be so difficult to handle. I've been practicing shuffling them for a while now, and I've gotten marginally better. I suppose it's just one of those things you have to get used to.-The cards are very slick. I think this contributes to the difficulties I have shuffling. The moment I pulled them from the box, they slipped right out of my hands. Reminded me of one of those water toys...anyway, I don't consider this a bad thing really, just unexpected. It makes them easier to work with; I would hate to have cards that stuck together.-I did a sort of "test" question to see how well I connected with the cards, and they've continued to give me accurate answers thus far.-I do not mind the shorter description of the Minor Arcana cards. I feel that too much description would take away the mystery of it all.-The interpretation of the cards from the LWB are preferable to other interpretations I had read online. All in all, I feel this is the perfect deck for me. I had a couple other decks I was considering while waiting for these to arrive, but I doubt I will follow through with purchasing them as this deck seems to be a great match for me. I would definitely recommend this deck to anyone.

My personal favorite deck. The creator’s style vibes with me very well. I look forward to seeing what else he will create in the future.I love it so much that I own two copies. The first one I’ve had since February of 2017 I believe. And it’s very comfortable to to read and work with.

The Archeon Tarot is a deck with lots of feeling to it. It is one of my favorite decks (and I have more of them than I care to mention). The cards definitely have a dark and perhaps somewhat somber feel to them. The imagery on the cards is very dramatic and expressive; which makes me feel connected to the cards when I read them.I would be reluctant to use this deck in reading for others because of the nudity. The nudity is generally tasteful, but there is quite a bit of it. Most of the cards in the deck do not present any nudity, and the images are still powerful. But there are enough of the cards that do such that some may find it offensive. Hence my reason for giving the deck four rather than five stars.Otherwise, the look and feel of the deck is excellent. The artwork on the cards is a combination of photography and digital imagery, but is blended so well as to appear seamless. The imagery is relevant to interpreting the cards and has sufficient depth to encourage a great deal of thought and reflection. The images differ somewhat from the more standard Rider-Waite type, but many of the same general themes are observable.The deck comes with the standard little white booklet describing the cards and their meanings.Definitely a deck worth having!

This new style set of tarot is done with such flawless grace that it is difficult to find fault with it. Tarot is not new, by a long shot. There is not much left to uncover for myself after looking at so many newer interpretations of the same old pack of cards. This pack moves to motivate myself once more!At the very least, this set is worthy of gallery sized images. The Art is taken to a new occult level. The Death card is very effective! The Wheel of Fortune is so detailed, it almost moves on its own. The Moon is always my favorite and this one peaks my interest as well. The Sun is beautiful and playful. The human figure is done very tastefully. The nudity used can cause certain clients to blush so, use ones own discretion. The minor arcana is very interesting as well. Details usually overlooked by many artists. All the meanings are very traditional. Great for first time learners, a well as seasoned masters.This deck is published by U.S. Games. A class act in presentation. Glossy finish makes shuffling the card easier. They are standard size making them easy to handle. I would advise readers who like a darker, more gothic style to use these. They would work well as a meditational tool as well. The Artist website offers the images in a large poster format. This would be great for advertising! Reasonably priced as well.The artist must have some deep inspiration to do such an honor to this blossoming tool of mysticism. Imagine, digging through sands of some lost civilization and discovering these gems! Or one's own subconcious for that matter.

Very nice tarot deck .. Happy to have this in my collection.. Would recommend .. See photo for sample of some cards.. Cards are good quality.. The box is cheap and cheerful.. One day they will make the boxes like the oracle decks... Let's try... please make better boxes for the tarot cards.. Pretty Please.... At least I tried...

This deck has beautiful, evocative art & shuffles like silk, though I do recommend a reading cloth to help keep them in good shape.As for how they read, I personally read it in a layered way. There is a quote for each card, which for me, has come out as a narrative many times, traditional meanings/vocabulary & the meanings given specifically for this particular deck. The narrative often tells the story of the situation, the meanings for this particular deck usually gives the context & the traditional meanings, the how.Some of the meanings for this deck deviate quite significantly from the traditional, such as the 5 of Pentacles:"Rest, relaxation, meditation, relief, vacation, sweetness, sincerity, serenity.",while the reverse gives the more usual meaning. But it completely fits the card imagery.I would say this is a deck for intermediate readers, myself & if you are, I would definitely recommend this one.

Die Verbindung zu diesem wunderschönen Deck konnte sehr schnell aufgebaut werden. Es ist ein dunkles Deck und zeigt versteckte Seiten der Seele, sehr gut für psychologische Themen geeignet. Es zeigt die Sicht der Dinge von innen. Vor allem für intuitives Deuten geeignet. Ich liebe dieses Deck. Die Bilder sind wunderschön!
