HairDay Care Professional Salon Cape-I am a licensed Cosmetologist who no longer works in a salon, but I do cut hair in my kitchen for my friends and family.I have been needing a good basic cape for a while now, I had older ones that were 30 a piece back when I bought them 15 years ago, I used them until they literally disintegrated. I had to throw them out for this reason. I wanted to find a good cape that did not have any plastic/rubbery coating that would flake off after time.I found this cape and decided to give it a try. To my surprise I found this cape to be THE BEST cape I have ever used!The material is super smooth! It is a lightweight cape, but also seems well made and sturdy at the same time!It has multiple snaps (which are also made of good quality) on the neck to fit a very wide range of neck sizes. It even fits securely and nicely on my 6-year-old! This cape would fit a child very well, up to an adult with a VERY large neck.Size- This is a very nice long cape! It covers and protects any size body very well!Storage- It has a sewn in loop for easily hanging up when not in use.Classy Logo- I love the simple yet classy logo with scissors and the colors. It is clean and nice looking!I am beyond IMPRESSED with this cape and have found it be a quality product at an amazing VALUE! I wish this cape was around when I was working in the salons. I would have saved money and had a better cape!Do not hesitate to buy this, you will be glad you did!

Very happy with this purchase. Huge upgrade from using a cut up plastic bag! Starting cutting my man's hair during this pandemic and this has kept the hair sliding off of him. Hair doesn't stick to it so easy cleanup and the adjustable snap closure around the neck is much nicer than tying it or velcro. It folds up very nicely and compact without wrinkling so we can place it in his hair-grooming kit's case. Nice quality and the logo on the front is just an added professional looking bonus!

Awesome cape! Not cheap plastic, like cloth but water resistant/proof. It is nice and big, and the loop is very convenient. The neck has many snaps to fit many sizes snugly, from small to very large. I have used it to bleach and then dye my daughter's hair in so far and have washed it in the washer and put through the dryer and it laundered great. Excellent cape for the price, good enough to be professional in my opinion, but I am no hair stylist. I have already bought a second because they are so cheap, so that I have one for the bleaching and one for the dying process. (That way I don't have to worry about bleach contaminating dye.) I would absolutely recommend and will buy more myself if I need anymore. I think these will last me a very long time with proper care though.

For the longest time I kept using the cheap plastic cover that came with the cutting shears. I kept saying I need to get a real cap and so happy after review others I chose this one. The quality is superior. It is long enough to cover the entire body of any size person and the variety of snaps on the neck with also adjust to any size neck. The only thing is it is hard to shake off all the hair or wipe it off. Since I only do a haircut one every two weeks this is not a problem as I put it in the washing machine and it comes out perfect. The quality of the material is so good I do not have concerns about washing it for a many years.

Very easy to use. Not the cheapest item, but I think it's worth the extra few bucks. I looked at several items carefully. What helped me to decide on this one is that: 1) you have an adjustable neckline (and when I actually used it, it can be pretty tight ... which is what I wanted) 2) There isn't this "hole" in the back ... the cape overlaps behind the head, further reduces hair on the clothes. I have hair that is sharp is toothbrush - and after a full haircut in windy outdoor, I don't think I got anything on me. In addition, very little static clinging in the material - which means you can actually shake the hair off pretty well. It doesn't cling to clothes either. Overall, very satisfactory.

Just started cutting my own hair several months ago, after my barber retired. The clippings that will fall on the neck and shoulders was a real itchy problem for me. A shirt and with a towel wrapped around the neck did not solve the problem to my satisfaction and wearing no shirt was probably an even worse option. So I bought this cape hoping to cut down on the clippings. Even though the cape is designed to be used by a professional with a seated customer it has also served me well when I stand and cut my own hair..
