I am a senior and have bad knees so stooping down to use a dustpan and broom is hard for me. So in searching online, I found this one. It folds up and the broom fits in the snap lock attached to the dustpan handle. The dustpan was a little wider than I expected but it works for me. I live in a 1 bedroom renovated mill apartment complex which has all the original hardwood floors and tile floors in the bathroom so this is ideal for sweeping the floors for quick pick up of dust. It's made very sturdy also. I highly recommend this dustpan and broom.

We aren't rough with it and it has held up for over two years. It gets a great deal of use each day from multiple people and has lasted well. I tend to sweep and then hold the dustpan over a trash can with a bonk, bonk bonk to empty it. Works like a charm. The dustpan is broad and has an excellent lip. The broom and dustpan handles are not super long but that hasn't been an issue for us. I'm glad we got it.

So I wanted a dustpan for quick cleaning, I didn't want to take out the bulky vacuum every time. I loved the idea of a dustpan with a long stand, this meant I didn't have to bend down. Also, this was the cheapest option available on Amazon.The stand isn't that long, I'm 5'3 but I still have to bend a bit. I don't use the broom that came with it, I find it a bit awkward and it hurts my hand. What I do is use this kind of broom, (you can find it at any Indian grocery store for cheaper) this broom is lighter and easier to use.I sweep across the room with the broom, collect the dust in a pile, then use the broom to transfer it to the dustpan. Overall, the cleaning takes less time and I'm not that mad at the height of the dustpan.I have no complaints about the dustpan, the dust transfers well onto the dustpan, and the price is great!

Imagine my surprise when this broom and dustpan arrived. I am so well pleased and very happy with this purchase. I am wheelchair bound and this is exactly what is needed for me and my household when I need a quick pick up. This is not your standard length broom, however, it works very well even if your are upright, it is a bit short for the average user. I also like how neatly it all fits together when it is not being used, everything closes and folds up compactly saving storage space. The Quickie Flip Lock is exactly what it is advertised as being, no disappointments here. I definitely recommend this even if you are not in a wheelchair like me, the duo would be great for a child if you are teaching the child to clean up, or like most children they like to assist when you are cleaning up. I really, really like this broom and dustpan duo, thanks Amazon for making items like this for me to purchase.

While I have no infirmities, I somehow find leaning down with a dust pan constantly after I sweep a major annoyance. In my current home, the entire kitchen, living and dining areas are hard wood floors, so I sweep a lot. I was looking for a standing dust pan to remove the aggravation from sweeping, and this standing dust pan works very well, and aside from convenience, even seems to be more effective than others. The reason for my 3 stars is if you are also looking for a broom, the little broom part of this will not do the trick in most cases. I just wanted the stand up dust pan, so I don't really care. I'm using the broom I already had. The broom is too small to sweep very well, and the stick is so ridiculously short that 4'10" me found it difficult to use, so I can only imagine how it would be for average to tall people. Really seems like something that would have come with toddler play cleaning set. However, if like me you primarily want a reasonably priced standing dust pan that doesn't take up much room, this is a good deal. Also, the dust pan portion folds up vertically to the stick, so it takes very little room when you store it.

Im 5"1 and I always had issues with broom handles being way to big same for the dust pans and this was the perfect size for me I wish I could find more house hold items like this
