We installed these to keep the tree roots out of our brand new lawn. Easy to put together and install.

Purchased this root barrier to keep a ficus hedge from lifting a nearby patio slab. I strictly control the size of the hedge but felt it was still too close to the slab. These worked great. Sturdy material and they slide together easily. Good product.

I had an issue with tree roots under my above ground pool liner and had to get a new liner installed. To avoid this issue re-occurring, I put this around half the pool (side facing a tree line) and it has done great with new re-occurring tree roots under the pool liner.

This product was installed on a job that I was working on and it worked just fine. It is now part of City property and has been turned over to the owners and operators of the street. The beautiful trees that it now contains will not be harming the brand-new sidewalks. Great product!

Will be worth the effort to use this. Pearce of mind that our patio is stay root damage Free & our neighbors won’t see any unexpected aspens babies growing in their yard! Aspen roots are notorious for spreading, but only go down 12” or a bit more. I got the 18” down, big peace of mind so worth the extra time.

The hardest part was digging the trench at the fence line and cutting roots from my neighbor's oak tree that were growing into my yard. The roots take up moisture from the soil, making it difficult for grass to grow. I expect the root barrier will help to prevent this from happening again. The root barrier was easy to assemble and put into the trench.

It went together as supposed, I think I solved my pool from my "Neighbors Roots "lol . I was constantly finding root systems growing under my liner, having to drain pool and clear roots. I dug around permiter, installed barrier and hopefully NO roots!

A section of our driveway lifted up by 2 inches and had to be replaced. After removing the old concrete we set out to dig up any roots and we had roots the size of small tree trunks growing under the driveway. Cutting them out and simply putting new concrete over top of it would be foolish and a giant waste of time and money. So we took the time to dig down deep enough to insert these panels which should keep out the roots for a very long time. One trick we used was to use a jack hammer with a spade bit and sliced out a trough deep enough for the panels that was only about 3 inches wide. Then we pounded the panels down to proper height. This saved having to dig a trench 18 inches deep in very hard pack ground. These will work for many situations where roots need to be blocked. Quality material.

Well packaged arrived on time, easy to put together, the instruction are easy to follow and extremely easy to use. The hardest thing is digging the garden to put them in. Flexible and bendy so made my job easy.

Was a great product to install, except it didn’t dig the ditch for me. ☹️ I dug a trench 2 ft deep to accept the plastic panels. I installed mine specially to keep blackberries out of my yard, along with other plants. The panels connect together very easily by sliding one into the other. The abs / poly or whatever it is made from is thick enough that it would be difficult to damage. I drilled holes in the top of the panels and tie wrapped them to the bottom of my chain link fence. Looks great. Will it keep the blackberries out? ... stay tuned...

Delivery on time. Set these into the trench that I had prepared and joined them together. Don't tap down with a mallet though as one of mine snapped. Luckily I had some extra. That was my fault though, so product was excellent.

The hardest thing about using this product is digging a trench and cutting the roots so it can be slipped into place. Once it's in, it won't budge because it has ribs on the backside that will hold it in place. Under the weight of the earth, it forms against the earth and rock and will not move at all. Great stuff!
