I’ve been using this retort for several months and it has worked great for distilling ethanol and acetone in a water bath. I only wish it came with a keck clamp to hold the plug in while distilling, but i bought one separately.

I got this mostly to look at, but if you want a teeny all in one distilling setup, this will work for that too.Pretty to look at; likely fragile.

I kept a watchul I for the item to be delivered. As soon as the delivery person left it on my front door I looked it up and took it in to check it. When I hold the wrapped item I could hear already the broken glass....I opened it to see how bad it was and almost cut myself with the shards. It was completely useless.

Unpack the first one it was just fine but then when I opened up the package for the second one the unit was shattered unfortunately had to request a refund only one came through the glass does not seem particularly high quality

I got one use out of it then Clean it out the bottom broke out after using a double boiler method of heating… So just pour glass quality and very thin
