Best tree ever
My trees grew faster than other trees we have that said fast growing. After approximately 1 year our threes are about 12 feet tall. I am glad I got them. Will be ordering more.

Healthy Trees!
We received 25 trees at the end of June (arrive looking like sticks) and I'm happy to report that 24 have made it so far and are growing like weeds! We planted them all in the ground after letting them sit in water for about 1 week to grow their roots. Looking forward to their growth over the next few months. (July 22, 2023-Florida)

Withered Willows
Very disappointed. We followed the instructions for start & planting but did not have even one that made it. We did get roots but once we planted them, they died 1 by 1. We do live in AZ but have many types of willows that thrive here.

Privacy tree gold!!!
I ordered these last year and ordered again because they grow so fast. Stay a beautiful bright green - even in snow. They are taller than me after one year they have given us the privacy wall we needed. It’s almost like you can watch them grow. Every few days you see new growth. It feels very rewarding. Water and watch them grow. Easiest trees ever!

One year review - good seller, not good product
These hybrid willow trees are good for warm climates. They require a ton of water. They require full sun. I planted these in New York. They got tall and never spread out. They went dormant in winter time. The leaves fell off. For a privacy screen it's not what you are expecting. In spring they have a nice yellowish small flower that looks nice. I think if you are looking for a privacy screen in a place that gets frost this is not for you. In winter time you can see right across the yard.I will also say that I tore these out of the ground as they caught a nasty fungus and all died. They are deer resistant but they are not fungus resistant. For a living fence it must be deer resistant, self sufficient for watering, grow fast like weeds, and be thick enough to provide screening. These won't get thick until the third year. I had a row of these in the ground for two years and they still didn't spread out. I think the 3ft spacing is pushing it. I'd plant 1-2 feet for a thicker screen. I only purchased these because I wanted to replace the ones that died from a fungus. In a hot humid climate fungus is inevitable. I don't wanna have to spray fungicide every year.Stick with green giant arborvitae or Leyland cypress. There is a reason everyone uses them. It's more expensive and grows a bit slower but there is no comparison for a place with frost.Again this might bode well in a wet hot environment like Florida but in new york or a dry place like Arizona I don't think so.The seller is not bad. It's the plant itself. Not a good for a screen.

Entitely Epic
I ordered 2 packs of 25 and got more than 50. Set them in water, and 50% rooted within 9 days. Here in NC I wanted to start to plant them, but as I type this it's 20F outside. But this week it's going up to 60F, and my privacy barrier will take foot.I expect all 50+ to root. Such a better value than $90 per plant for more grown plants. If you can wait a season for your barrier, these cuttings are it!Edit: March 19 - all 57 have rooted in water. They want to live. Now that the temps in NC are 75 during the day and no lower than 45 at night, they are thriving in water.I have planted 25 of my 50+ this week, and they are thriving in soil after 3 days. Yowza..their internal growth hormone is a thing.Just ordered another 25 because I under-counted for my property size. The annoying neighbors will not matter in a year.

This is the first time I have had a major problem with anything I have bought with CZ Grain
I have paid hundreds of dollars for many batches of willow cuttings and other products from CZ Grain, always with great results. They even tend to throw in a few extra cuttings in most batches. However, this is the first time I have ever had a major problem. The cuttings arrived as normal, except most had at least 50% covered with dry, hard, brown bark. Usually they are all green or mostly green. The brown-ness was dry and didn't smell, so I didn't think to take pictures when I first got them.I changed the water once a day with clean filtered water, and leave them away from direct light, like I have done with countless other amazing and simple CZ Grain willow sticks. After 3 days of doing this, no roots or growth, and the brownness seemed to have spread upwards on most of these, and it now feels a little slimy, so I put each one under cool water and gently rinse them off, like I have always done with willow cuttings. The bark starts coming off. Weirder still, the smell is.. bizarre. It's not a rot smell, it's like a bacterial acidic smell or something. And even weirder, the bark started peeling off in my hands.. I decided to peel one completely to see if the cambium underneath is damaged/discolored. It is!Unfortunately this was a very bad batch. I'm disappointed because it was kind of a lot of money to spend on willow cuttings.. I wanted to contact the company but Amazon is making it complicated so I have to leave this review here.🙁
