Hello, the receiving distance of the pager set is 100~150m, and the wall will affect the receiving distance, so when you receive the product, you need to test the effective distance. The battery power also affects the distance, so after you use it for a period of time, you need to replace the battery.

Hello, dear customer. You can buy other buttons, but you must purchase the designated buttons. Because of the need for matching, if you buy buttons of other brands from other places, they will not be matched. Q: Can the receiver be carried on the person of the carer so they can be alerted anywhere in the building or does it have to be plugged in?

I think it can be carried on the person, but generally this should be placed in room positions near the panic button being pressed. Yes it’s battery operated means it can be, I assumed with the person, just remind also it’s meant to be hanged in a place where it can be heard, as this needs to be combined close within at least 10-100 metres without obstruction, causing signal loss. Hope you find my reply useful. I noticed one thing is that each ringer looses its batter power quite quickly.🤷🏽
