Caran Dache Ballpoint Pen, Turquoise Blue, with SwissRide Blue Medium Cartridge

I am a lefty and struggle with pens. This is the smoothest writing pen I have found thus far. Ink drys fast so no smearing or bleed though. Also a great deep blue color.

Caran Dache pen is solid, comfortable and well balanced. Smooths writing. Color of pen also looks like some bonus.

writes great and is kind of overbuilt which I like. I am 25 and have had arthritis since age 11 and I feel this pen lacks the ergonomics for prolonged writing. The ink is great quality and smooth without being runny or skipping and it isn't globby. It seems to dry quickly and no problems with smearing. The build of the pen seems to be great it just doesn't allow me for enough control and my writing will end up looking sloppy or cause my hand to cramp.

The pen is cheaply made, the clip isn't even tight so if you put it in your pocket and lean over it will just fall out because the entire outer shell is plastic so there's no way to adjust this. The ink is fine and uses the same cartridge as their steel-silo pens. If you were buying it just for the ink cartridge, I would say it's fine but as a pen it's not worth this price. Not the fault of the reseller, but this is directly the way the product is manufactured.

Bright colors, smooth ink - what's not to love. Has rapidly become my favorite pen.

Paid less than $8 and it is well worth the money. Writes well, feels fairly sturdy for a plastic pen and is better suited for larger hands than the Fixpencil line.
