Light, Gets through are bathroom door of home built in 1958 - Quick/easy assembly
Stander Let’s Shop Rollator, Lightweight Four Wheel Euro Style Shopping Walker with Seat and ......This is light!I'm a short sr. citizen, almost 5' 3", in my early 70's. The rollator arrives in a 34" tall box - slightly more than 1/2 my height. I opened the top & saw that it was pkgd in a plastic bag. My first thought was to tip the rollator out of the box, but I decided to grab the bag to try and pull out the rollator. I got it halfway out & wondered if I should continue cause my hands were over my head by this point; I decided to keep pulling it out & I was successful! I didn't even strain myself. So, yes, this is light (16 lbs)I got this for my hubby who has Parkinson's Disease...I was told he shouldn't use a rollator because it will go too fast for him & it does, but it works pretty good for him when we're outside in the grass which provides some friction. He holds the handle in 1st position to slow it down & I stay close to monitor how it works for him.The brake handle has 3 positions...1st position is in the center. The rollator rolls normally in this position.2nd position is nearest handle; it applies pressure to the brakes & slows down the walker;3rd position is the brake. Push the brake handle down til it clicks to lock the back wheels. There's a dial on each leg which will help you regulate the brake's tension. It easily fits through our bathroom door.--Our home was built in 1958. The rollator even fits through our bathroom door, it turns easily & can be maneuvered in our bathroom. Your bathroom layout will determine how it will work for you. I'm giving you this information for comparison. He doesn't use the rollator in the house because it is too fast for him.--The seat is approx 20" x 7". It's not comfortable, but is helpful when you need to sit for a short period. Don't plan on taking it to a parade, etc. to use as a seat. The seat height isn't adjustable. It works for him, but my feet don't touch the floor unless I sit on the edge. I don't have to get on my tippy toes to sit, but do have to raise up slightly.Storage bag:--The insulated storage bag will hold a couple medium size bags of groceries; there's an inner, zippered removable tote that you can put your groceries, shopping items, etc. in & lift the entire bag when needed. This is useful when you're done shopping & ready to fold the rollator. Outside, is a zippered pouch & 2 mesh pockets. The outside storage pouch even has a reflective area. Watch the video to see the rollator in use.Quick & easy assembly. Everything is good quality. The large storage pouch, inner tote, outside zippered pouch & mesh pockets are all useful for shopping or even taking yarn, needlework supplies, craft supplies, etc. along.Folding/unfolding is quick and easy. Move the latch to unfold; the latch automatically latches when you fold the rollator. We like this rollator, it is pricey only you can decide how much you want to spend.

The Seating Is Painful
I like the Stander rollator’s appearance. It has thick but clean lines and a sturdy look. I appreciate that its wiring is encased inside the frame. The fabric is good quality but my seat arrived with some light discolorations on it that I can’t clean off with soap and water or scrubbing. The unit folds/unfolds easily and I had no problems lifting it and storing it in various spots in my vehicle. My bathroom door is not hc compliant so the rollator can’t fit through there but it’s fine at other doors. You can’t wash your hands if you are standing in front of it like some models because you can’t reach the sink. Its maneuverability is outstanding and it can hug corners and turn on a dime. The wheels don’t do so well on gravel though (or padded carpet) and after less than a day’s use the wheels have begun to make a slight squeak/wincing sound. It’s great that it can support my heavy weight when I get fatigued, but its seating is horrible. I know it would change the way it folds if the seating was framed out and cushioned instead of just a layer of fabric. However, it’s painfully uncomfortable to sit on, even for a few moments. I also didn’t like the fit/length of the back rest so I’ve already removed it. As much as I appreciate the overall build quality, I would mainly use this to “Let’s Shop” as advertised. I wouldn’t take it out for a stroll, out to an amusement park or partake in any other activity that I knew I would need a long rest while doing it, if I wasn’t assured that there are plenty of benches nearby.A few things to note:It’s packaged assembled except for the backrest. It came with a hex bar to install the backrest, but not with a Flat/Phillips to remove the existing bolt already inside it.It does not roll over padded carpet well at all (It’s fine on non padded). The carpet fibers will cause it to pull you out of the direction you intended.Out of the box, the full stop brakes were too tight for me. You can adjust them but I found that the left one can’t be loosened as much as the right and it feels like you might break the handle when you engage it. It’s so hard I have to use two hands to push it down. To adjust the right brake scroll down. To adjust the left brake scroll up.At the time I ordered this, the listed cost was $450 and I think it’s highly overpriced. If it came with all terrain wheels, included the tray they show in the video or had decent seating or better yet came with a removable cushioned seat, even then $450 would be pushing it.

Whoever designed this thing is pure evil
So, I don't really have an disabilities that would warrant something like this. Yet. But seeing it on Vine made me want to see how it would work.It arrived in a giant box. Most of it was already put together and just folded up. It has a bag of mystery parts I haven't even managed to open yet, and a separate backrest for the seat, which is the bane of my existence.I've spent hours trying to install this backrest. It needs to be screwed in at a fiddly angle from inside, so there's not much space. I finally got one side attached, which made the other side more difficult, because it was harder to hold at the correct angle. After hours trying to attach the second side, I decided to try to just screw the bolt in without the backrest. Even that is impossible. Now, the side I got attached won't unscrew, so it's stuck halfway put together.I don't know why this company hates people with disabilities so much.
