Hidden book shelf lock
Installed it on a hidden bookshelf door and it works great! Love it!

Works great but big
I did not use a photo due to the fact that I decided to not use the lock due to it's size so nothing to photo. It works but it needs a larger box or drawer so as to not look so obtrusive.

Easy to install
Super simple to install. Took me about 10 minutes to fully install. I have this on a standard cupboard door and it work great. Keeps our medication safe from the kids!

Tricky to install, Great Lock.
I love this lock. It was a bit tricky to install, but it sure was worth it. It was installed on a storage unit in one of my rental homes that kept getting opened without permission. Once I installed this thing, no one can get in unless they have the fob or pass card. It is really secure and easy to use. The only disadvantage is that I have to replace the batteries about 3X a year, it take 4 AA Duracell each time. Not a biggie, but you need to be aware.

Does NOT work on 1/2" thick doors
Beyond that, this is a decent lock for keeping incidental lookyloos and kids out of your stuff. My cabinet has 1/2" mdf doors and it doesn't read through that. I tried it before install and I'm glad I did. I have a couple other projects I'm working on that I could use it for, but this one isn't it. 3 stars because product is good, but not as advertised

Defaults to lock without power
So I agree with most reviewers. Getting it lined up for install is a trial-and-error effort and I had to install some wood spacers for the male side of the unit because it sits further back than the face frame of the unit. No big deal. I programmed the cards/fobs before installing. The programming was easy per the instructions and the fobs simply don’t have the range that the cards do, but I did figure out after install that I need to hold the fob in place for about 2 seconds and the lock will open.Ok so here’s the CAUTION. I figured that I would leave the battery cover off of unit while installing and getting it lined up. Bad idea. Once it was lined up I closed the drawer a bit too hard and the batteries came loose. The unit defaults to lock without power. I won’t go into details of what it took to get the drawer open - but it was not pretty!!The battery cover is now on! And I am buying the power cord as I do not want to go through that again and I have a power source in the drawer.
