Brilliant Fat Ball Feeders - homebird does it again!
As a bird lover, I’ve tried my fair share of feeders, but homebird’s Fat Ball Feeders have completely blown me away. First off, you can tell it’s a premium product, well-made and thoughtfully designed by British Birdwatchers who clearly understand the needs of both the birds and us humans! The set of three is perfect for spreading around the garden, giving you more viewing points and attracting a wide variety of birds. I placed one near the patio, one under a tree, and another at the far end of the garden. It’s amazing how quickly the birds flocked to them, and now I get to enjoy their antics from anywhere in the house. What really sets this feeder apart is the genius pinch and scoop design. You don’t have to touch the fat balls at all (thank goodness). It’s hygienic, quick, and super easy to load them into the feeder. It makes me wonder why all feeders don’t have this feature! The quality is exactly what you’d expect from homebird - sturdy, durable, and weather-resistant. Best of all, they’re designed to keep the fat balls secure but accessible to birds, so no wastage and no mess.If you want a hassle-free way to feed birds and enjoy watching them up close, these feeders are an absolute must-have. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best fat ball feeders I've ever owned
I know these aren't cheap—as fat ball feeders go—but they are well worth the extra money. They are easy to fill, even while still hanging, just by pinching the top of the wire holder which opens the bottom feeder. Compared to other feeders, this is wonderful. The rigid nature of the holder is also a plus, in that it doesn't swing around as much as the ones on chains do, making it easier for the birds to feed. The large openings makes it easy for birds to reach inside, and get at the food, even when the ball has 'gone down' a bit.Because there is a clip holder at the top, these are easily fixed to branches, etc. They have remained in place in my garden, no bother, for the past month. This is unusual for my garden, as I am plagued by squirrels and large birds such as magpies, crows, and wood pigeons which usually manage to remove the feeders from the branches and carry them off. They have tried with these a few times, but gave up quickly. Anybody who knows squirrels, magpies, crows and wood pigeons knows that giving up is not in their nature. However, these feeders have totally defeated them.A magpie got onto the feeder at one stage, but because it couldn't cling to the feeder and eat at the same time, it quickly gave up and flew away, and there has been no sign of another try.I would advise hanging these at a height where you can reach them to refill ...mine hang between 4 and 5 feet from the ground—which suits the birds as well as me. I have clipped the feeders to evergreen branches, which prevents them from sliding off, and seems to discourage squirrels from chewing through the branches. It also provides a bit of cover for the birds, both from above and below, which they seem to appreciate. The clips are suitable for branches that are about an inch thick, but if you wanted to use thicker branches, you might want to add a carabiner of some kind that can open wider.I have had an array of songbirds using these feeders this winter, which include the usual blue tits, great tits, coal tits, chaffinches, greenfinches, but also a flock of long-tailed tits has discovered them and feed there daily. Although robins, sparrows and dunnocks prefer to feed on the ground, they have all adapted to these feeders very well.I am 100% impressed with these feeders. Furthermore, they are sturdy and will probably not only last the winter out, but will probably be fine in subsequent years as well. And they look nice as well.

Fantastic Bird Feeders
I have tried a a number of different bird feeders in the past but these are by far the best. Great design, easy to put up and maintain. Not surprised they are award winning they deserve to be. Sturdy, functional, easy to maintain and great design.

High quality and looks brilliant
Excellent quality and superb stickability.I had seen cheaper versions of this but decided on trying this one out and I am so pleased I did.The removable tray makes it so easy to refill and clean. It is a decent size and can have 2 types of feed in it. It is super easy to stick and holds well. Strongly recommend and this is loved by my mother.

Super suckers
Fabulously sturdy and well constructed bird feeder made from seriously thick materials.Comes with what I would class as the Henry Hoover of the super suckers world. There were instructions on how to sort folded suckers and an extra one with with mine which I thought was a nice touch.Bonus is it's made in England. In short, its a super sturdy, super suckered window based bird feeder which us now on my top floor home office window.I'm sure our local dickybirds will appreciate the 5* dining, they just need to find it, which I'm sure the females will do so first.Well done.

Sturdy plastic but weak glue
It's a great bird feeder - it sticks firmly to the window, gives birds plenty of space and gives the watcher a good view. It's made of sturdy plastic. However, the plastic pieces are just glued together. One piece broke off as I gently pulled the feeder from the box, but as it was a child's birthday present I didn't have time to return it so glued it back together. Two months later I needed to loosen some seeds stuck between it and the glass so gently pulled it forward from the window and another piece broke off. So I'm going to be gluing it back together again. Be gentle with it.
