Worth it.
After a month of hiking in Oregon, I'm absolutely thrilled with these. They are warm yet breathable, comfortable out of the box, look great, and the traction is awesome. They are light as regular tennis shoes.I go through small streams regularly, like halfway to ankle deep, and have not had a leak. When they get muddy I just dip my feet in a clean stream and they're clean (enough) fast! The outside of the front is absorbent like regular fabric, and I feel like when it is wetted out that it may theoretically inhibit the breathability, but I have not observed this in practice. The rest of the shoe is apparently breathable enough to the point where this "wetted out" portion doesn't affect the overall breathability. The waterproof layer is deeper so no water penetrates to socks. I haven't noticed any appreciable weight increase while wet either. So, absolutely no complaints and I highly recommend!

Very poor quality
Used it in the city for 2 weeks to break them in before my big important hiking trip, and on the first day i get to the mountain, the bands which holds the laces come unglued and i could no longer tie my shoes. I had to poke holes pn the shoe to run the laces through so i could finish my hike. Unable to return as they were just outside the 30 days and the seller refused to take them back

Didn't know what to expect...
Buying online is always an unknown. I didn't know what to expect when ordering these since my only cross reference for hiking boots were my Australian Blundstones. These fit as expected (half size bigger). They are comfortable, really lightweight, and very grippy in dry earth, gravel, grass, mountain rock. While I haven't tried them in wet snow, they seemed pretty good on hard-packed snow and ice, perhaps better than the Blundstones that are tough on all surfaces and in the cold. I recommend these for the casual hiker.

Tough, lightweight, lots of grip
This is the only pair of hiking shoes I have ever owned so I'm no expert but I really like them. I bought them to climb Misti and they got the job done. My feet stayed warm and dry and I felt very confident and surefooted with the grip they provided

Lacking quality for the price you pay
As soon as I wore these shoes, they felt cheap. First off, the insole seems to be something you would find in a $30 dollar shoe. Very thin with no support. It feels like you have about a 1/4 inch between your foot and the ground. The shoelaces are the thinnest I have ever seen and don't exactly inspire confidence in their long-term durability. The loops the shoelaces are run through are made of the same stuff. The only part of the shoe that seems decent is the sole. Seems to have good traction. If I had paid $35 dollars for them, I would be fine with it. You replace the insoles, and you'll probably get a year's worth of good use. But for what they actually cost, I am very disappointed. I would give a lower rating, but maybe they'll last longer than I think. I doubt it

All rounder !
Great shoe for hiking and running. Superb grip, best I’ve experienced in an trail shoe.

Lightweight and comfortable
Took a few days (10 miles of walking) to break in but after that I was able to do a nine mile hike without any issues or hot spots.
