Excellent Build Quality, Ok Mechanism
The barrel and tip are very nice, as are the leads that come with them. The colors are attractive and the pencils feel good in the hand. Unfortunately, they have the kind of mechanism that simply releases the lead, rather than the mechanism that advances it one press at a time. This is a bit inconvenient at times, since if you're holding the pencil upright and press the button, the lead simply falls out. However, the size is really the biggest deal about this. They are absolutely tiny. They are the only mechanical pencils I've found that are small enough to fit my GROZ 6-Inch Wing Compass. The pencil fits perfectly in the holder of the compass, and the lead is thick enough to draw a circle on a wide variety of materials without breaking. This is the purpose I originally bought it for, and it suits it particularly well.Another use I've found for them is marking sheet-rock when drilling holes for hanging objects on my walls. I don't usually use them for marking the particular spot where I'm going to drill, because I use a square awl for that, but they excel at drawing lines against a straight-edge on textured materials.Very recommended, just bear in mind they are about $8 each.

Very nice pocket friendly lead holders
I pair one (I got the three-pack) with a Field Notes journal and together they fit well in my pocket. I had a weird thing for pens and pencils…maybe a strange thing to collect, but I do. They’re lead holders, so the 2mm lead is difficult to break. But easy to sharpen since they have lead pointers in the cap. On the downside, the clips are pretty flimsy. If you’re looking for a pocket friendly clutch pencil but the Kaweco Sketch-Up is just too beefy, consider these.

I can’t believe I was today years old when I discovered this!
So apparently, clutch pencils are among some of the oldest writing/drawing utensils that are still in current use; they’ve been in use since their invention in the 1800s. As a minimalist, this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! It is my new EDC (every day carry) ESSENTIAL and has replaced ALL of my other drawing tools in my travel art/plein air/urban sketch kits. I originally bought a singular black one, but then bought this multipack so I could have one for each kit AND gift one to my nephew. It really minimizes what I need to carry with me on the go. Instead of carrying a bulk of different pencils, I can now carry just the leads/mines in varying grades of hardness/softness. I also found colored pencil mines to use in it. It even eliminated having to carry a sharpener since it is built in! It also fits a ball point pen refill, albeit snugly, so I no longer need to carry a pen either. Now everything I need can fit into my pocket. Because of this pencil, I can now carry everything I like to use for drawing on the go while still traveling light!

Great and Small pencil
Good weight in the hand, not too heavy to write with not so light that it feels fragile. The length is nice, shorter than a standard pencil so it fits almost entirely in your hand as you write, but needs the shorter variety of lead for these 2mm pencils. You can disassemble it to clean it too, and they came with lead. My one gripe is the sharpener, but that's a nitpick. Just get a small external one. The built in sharper doesn't get it nearly as sharp and the dust builds up fast.

Pocketable lead holders
These are miniature of the koh-i-noor regular lead holder. Very handful to have in a backup case, in the bag or in a travel painting kit. They have good quality as their bigger counterpart.

Kohinoor versatil
I really like these small 2mm pencils to carry in my pocket. I sketch constantly and they just make it that much easier to continue my hobby on the go. I took the clip off to fit better in my pants pocket.

This is the pencil that if lost I would replace immidiatly.
It is the perfect size to ride in your pants pocket. The included sharpener has you set with a pencil that you can use all day. I thought I lost mine and decided that I would order a replacement if it did not turn up by sunset.

Koh-I-Noor quality, as usual
Surprised by the size. They’re only 4-1/2” long, so a little short for my hand. Solid construction.
