As mentioned in another review, it needs to be fitted correctly in the first place, can be easily fitted incorrectly as i found out. But there's plenty of good fitting videos around to watch first. I've had it know for twelve months no problems at all. Works really well. I have just purchased the smart alarm system, it works well with that too.

I fitted 2 in 3 days and returned both, the first wouldn't proceed through the set up cycle, the 2nd one was going great, right up to the point where I had to assign the tags/fobs, I had a total of 3 tags and the card, once all were assigned to the lock I thought that was it, but no, as soon as I used one tag/fob one of the others refused to work, luckily while I was doing this someone was at home, because I went out and locked the door and then came back a couple of minutes later and was locked out, one of the fobs that was just assigned and worked decided it no longer wanted to work..you cannot trust technology if it does this, it was swiftly removed and returned..I would not even entertain the idea of one of these ever again... and what's worse is yales customer service...zero existence...why bother ?
