This is great for exfoliating but I would not use it on my baby. I got one that's nice and soft for my baby. The yellow sponge is the roughest, most exfoliating natural sponge out there. So unless you want your entire baby's body red, buy it for yourself. I love it! It's especially durable, it doesn't stink, and it's worked perfectly. It's not tiny, it's not gigantic. It's perfect.

This "Sea sponge" is rubbish. It is not soft at all, and it feels more like something artificial than natural. It is soo scratchy, rough, difficult to squeeze, and smells like an artificial aquarium. It is not even absorbent. We tried soaking it over and over to soften it, but it's no use. We had another natural sponge that a friend gifted us previously and that one was a dream - super super soft, absorbent, easy to use. They bought it abroad so unfortunately I couldn't find the brand. This sponge, on the other hand, my baby tried to touch and immediately disliked it so much that she stared at it while it was in the tub and started crying for whatever the reason. She NEVER cries in the bath - it's her favorite time of the day. The moment I removed it, she was fine and went back to playing with her toys. Definitely do not recommend. Wish I could get my money back. It's not even cheap.

Not as pictured and inconsistent - Understand it’s a natural product, however, there needs to be some quality control. My last order of these were dark brown and extremely coarse, definitely not suitable for use on a baby, more like a exfoliating sponge.
