Bought nearly a year ago.Had a great time constructing with my 7 year old. Takes a while but this is part of the fun for us. I think the instructions could be a little clearer, sometimes we found it hard to be sure whether we're choosing the correct piece as it can be easy to confuse the black and grey. Only a minor niggle though.As somebody mentioned it may pull to one side but I've find this happens when the wheels aren't properly aligned. Carefully align the wheels on the axles and it moves in a straight line (and works for a while before it needs aligning again).It's been pretty robust. Finally perhaps the most delicate part, a spring broke. I emailed the support details on the box and was promptly helped - a replacement spring and a second as a spare were sent. I suspect it broke when a couple of 2 smaller children were being quite rough, I didn't see what happened but it had previously been driven off tables etc with nothing breaking.Battery is going strong after nearly a year and I've not had to replace the batteries in the remote.I'd happily buy again and was pleased with the quality of support.

The instructions and bricks are very good quality and compatible with other company bricks beginning with L! Actually very accurate bricks which snap together well with no problems at all. My son has built two of the vehicles so far and was very happy with the result. The vehicles are very fast and controllable.

I must say I'm impressed by the quality of the parts. They aren't as good as LEGO but they're by no means bad either... it's just that the plastic isn't quite up to the same standard of Denmark's most famous export, and you can tell that these bricks aren't quite as refined. Considering how much cheaper this 392 piece set was than LEGO (and purposely don't specify the Sillbird version I bought as the same set is sold under various different brand names), it is a very interesting prospect and here's hoping the competition forces LEGO to lower their prices (one can dream).There are two big issues with this set though. Issues that you simply never have with LEGO.1. The printing and design of the instructions is quite poor. Not bad by any means... but not good enough either. Some of the diagrams could be clearer in what they are instructing you to do but the bigger problem is that even in good light, it's nigh on impossible to tell the blue pins and the black pins apart unless they're shown side by side. Brighter colours and sharper details would solve the issue.2. The other, perhaps more serious issue, is that the set has a design flaw. I followed the instructions exactly but the track assembly on one side kept on coming off because the instructions do not leave enough room around where the cables connect to the battery. You can modify the model quite easily, simply by raising the battery pack so that the pins that hold out in place by the holes at the top of the pack, are instead inserted into the bottom holes.The thing is though, you should not have to do that sort of thing. Perhaps some versions of the set come with thinner cables, so it's not an issue but even a small change to the design of the model would have meant that this would not be an issue, regardless of the variance in the cables.Great for the price and certainly worth considering but there's a reason LEGO is the more expensive gold standard.

Great little bit of kit, not something you can just give to the kid and let them get on with it unless they are a bit older, but perfect little project to sit down with your child. I done it with my son who is 7 and he was able to put it together with my help. It's a bit fiddly but not too difficult.Once built it's actually good and a pretty fast powerful car, I was surprised. The real bonus is the fact it has different ways to build it so you don't just do it once and that's it.All in all its a great little project to do with your son or daughter and a good way for them to learn new skills with a good model at the end of it so if you're looking at it and considering buying it I definitely recommend it.

One of the motor did not work, they sent me the whole set of new electronics. Good customer service. instructions are tricky but I think if you follow word by word you may be just about fine..

Was a great kit to assemble with my 8-year old son, and he enjoyed a few minutes of using it before it needed charging, but on recharging it reports being fully charged in under 10s - of course it isn't charged in reality and docs say should take 2 to 3hrs - i.e. the unit just won't charge. Unfortunately as I bought it in October for Christmas, the return period expired in November before it had even been opened. The support available seems to be "good luck with that".

Clear assembly instructions. The battery lasts over 20 minutes of fun. I recommend it, but from Sillbird.
