Relieved Thor's Foot Pain
I highly recommend these to anyone experiencing any sort of foot, leg, back or neck pain. I currently suffer from severe complications from a surgery on my foot years back. Over a period of many years, problems progressed to the point where my ankles were stiffening up from twisting outward in a constant effort to balance my weight. The bone supporting my pinky toe has grown several centimeters due to supporting unnatural weight on that side of the foot. I developed pronation in the big toe. Not all this came to light at once, though I have had at least 7 x-rays done of the bad foot. I went on many visits to podiatrists trying to get the right fit in orthotics that never worked. I was told by one doctor that I had a bone spur in my heel that should not be giving me the kind of trouble I described; another that told me I had to "really try " with another specialty orthotic, alongside which I cannot fail to point out that the referred clinic failed to secure insurance payment prior to my appointment on two separate occasions; a third doctor brushed it off as plantar fasciitis. In February 2017 an emergency room visit produced some pretty x-rays of my hip and knee, but not much else. Finally, a doctor realized that a weight bearing x-ray for the screaming agony I complained of every time I--uh, shocker--bore weight on my foot, might be in order. This doctor wanted to perform a bunionectomy that would put me out of work for 2-3 months with no guarantee of success. He also handed me two puny shoe inserts. However, I was in so much pain and becoming entirely crippled that I would have given almost anything consideration, even an extreme measure like another surgery. The doctor offered to shoot cortisone in my foot and I let him--twice. I suppose I could just say it has been a horrible ordeal to even get someone to look at me as though I was not making all this up. I could leave it at that. But I want everyone to realize how much doctor time has been involved in this process to "prove" a problem I told doctors about years ago. I tried various inserts and orthotics, with small success. But as the effect of the cortisone wore off, I began to despair of a long term solution. I wondered how I would continue to work when I could not walk across my house without wanting to crumple to the floor. I searched Amazon for hours looking at orthotics before choosing to try these and one other product. I sent the other product back. These wonderful cushions solve the limitations of conventional orthotics through the ingenious design of sticking to your feet and not to your shoes! They conform to the shape of my foot and I forget I am wearing them. I consider these a miracle. I do not say this lightly. I can walk around my home again without shoes. Yes, I do have on socks over the insert, but it is such a vast improvement I do not mind a bit. Bootie socks are a small price to pay, and these will make many of my summer shoes comfortable again. The cushions stick well enough that I will even try them in some of my sandals. I cannot say enough good things about this product and being able to place it EXACTLY where it is needed. Though nothing short of massive reconstructive surgery can truly fix my foot, this is not nearly as expensive or intrusive. So, I love love love HF for providing me with some much needed RELIEF at long last. If you have experienced this sort of problem, you know where I am coming from. Try these they are IT! You will get a coupon for your next order. I just ordered more. I am not receiving any compensation or free product for this review.

Does what it says it does
Why I purchased: I think I have a slight neuroma in my right foot, as I sometimes feel a minor shock in my toe when I wear heels. I bought these for some black strappy sandals, so I was praying that these wouldn't show through. My case doesn't sound as serious as others have written about, but I feel it often enough to want to take care of it. What I love: It doesn't show through! So my heeled sandals have a strap across the base of my toes and around my ankle. I put the cushion on as pictured. I played around with it to get it correct. It doesn't show through the sandal and it actually worked for my problem! With every wear, I must adjust it and it stays put for that entire day. The most important part: I don't have the shocking problem! That's all I wanted to fix! The cushion is comfortable! It wasn't expensive and fixed my problem. I even use the left-footed one on my right foot, so that the sticky side is attached to my foot, and that also works. I've worn this multiple times and it doesn't show any wear. The sticky is still sticky, I just clean with soap and water and it's seriously like new (even on the one that I stick to my foot, sticky-side up). What I don't love: Okay, so I read that the pads were so sticky, it was picking up the soles. This did happen. It took up the sole of my new sandals, but I don't care so much as I am going to leave the pad in that shoe anyways. However, I wouldn't like it if these shoes were super expensive. I plan on gluing the sole back to the shoe again. I RECOMMEND slowly removing the foot pad from the shoe and not doing so quickly, the way I did. Also, because it's a gel, it makes a vibrating feeling against my skin that reminds me of the shock, except it doesn't hurt-- but sometimes I question whether I put the pad on correctly. Also, there is no guide on how to put the pads on. I RECOMMEND TO THE SELLER to provide a guide and instructions, because I looked online and found mixed images on how to wear it. I also don't very much like that it took apart my sole (even though you can't tell it pulled it up, so it's fine), but again, just remove it super slowly. This proves that the adhesive is very strong. However, my complaints are minuscule compared to the benefits. Conclusion: This got the job done for my small shocking pain when wearing heels. It makes the shoe much more comfortable. Yes, it's super sticky, so keep that in mind. But it's not expensive, it's high quality, and it does what it says it does. I would recommend to someone with the same issue I have!

Game Changer
I had pain in the balls of my left foot that I had been getting cortisone injections for from a podiatrist. At times the pain was quite severe. I had about 6 or 7 injections in different parts of my foot and the pain seemed to move around from one joint to another. This went on for about 4 months. I had to throw away several pairs of decent shoes because I could no longer wear them due to foot pain. I was using a crutch to keep some weight off of the foot just get around at work. Finally decided to go on line to find out what was out there for foot pain. I found these on Amazon and they were a gamechanger from the first few steps after putting the pad on. Pain stopped! I can walk now without the crutch, no pain to walk around at work. The gel is soft enough that it does not feel too hard and yet it is firm enough that it takes the pressure off the balls of my foot. I can't say enough about how they have helped. This is the only one that I can see that applies to your foot which means you don't have to buy another pair for each pair of shoes you wear. The pad is rinsed easily, leaves no residue on your foot. Great product.
