So you get this thing and put the 3 pieces together like a fun child's puzzle. Then you try to stuff it in your center console. All the "up" and "Front" arrows are pointing the right way. You try to bend the plastic pieces a bit to get it into place. It stays in a weird useless diagonal. "They must have sent the wrong one," you think to yourself. "Maybe it only works for (doublecab/access cab/2005 model/whichever car you DONT have.)" You even consider returning it, but it's not worth the time.Eventually you go and watch a youtube video on how to use this most caveman-primitive device and realize you have to assemble it in place. You doubt. How could that change anything? It doesn't fit! But you try anyway. And it works.Whatever wizardry just happened is inexplicable, but you're content that your console can now separate your USB cables from your Cliff bar.Also, now that your bottom bin is organized, I recommend the HALF size top tray so you can get to the bottom by just sliding the tray around.

My comments have already been expressed in numerous other reviews but while this product does fit in the center console of my 2016 Toyota Tacoma the individual dividers do not fit together as tight as they should and therefore the dividers move when you put items in or take them out, requiring that you constantly have to straighten them. It can be fixed with some tape to hold them in place but that just bugs me that I would have to make modifications to something so simple. I'm not returning it because it does fit but the manufacturer needs to make some design modifications to make the individual pieces fit together better.

I am writing a combination review for both the tray and the dividers. This is a total 5-star review, and I rarely give 5 stars. I just traded my Toyota Tundra for a Tacoma. In my Tundra, it took an afternoon with my toolbox to install the try I bought for the center console. I never did find dividers for under the tray. A few years later I traded for a Tacoma, and I was disappointed that once again Toyota installed no tray in the center console. Then I found this tray on Amazon and said I need something, let's give it a shot. Along with the tray I ordered the dividers that fit underneath the tray. Everything arrived today and I was blown away with how easy the install was. No tools required. The dividers fit perfect down inside the console. The tray fit on top and looked like it came that way from the factory. In the bottom of the tray is a heavy rubber liner. You do not need the dividers to use the tray. The tray supports itself. At the time of this review these two pieces are sold separately, but there was a 20% discount at checkout for buying both. Shame on Toyota for not including these items with every Tacoma. At first I was a little skeptical because it seems expensive for for a few pieces of plastic but I purchased it anyway based on many positive comments on a Tacoma message board. Well, I'm glad I did. It fits perfectly and really does help keep things in their place in the center console. It's much easier to find things in the center console with this organizer than without. One word of advice, if youre like me and don't read any instructions you at least need to know that you have to put the pieces together inside the console otherwise you won't be able to get it in. It's a very precise fit and the bottom of the console is bigger than the top so it won't just slide in but this is nice because it also keeps it from just sliding out. All in all it is just a couple of pieces of plastic but the value is in the fact that they are cut precisely to fit and stay put. Definitely worth the money.

I got this organizer for a 2018 SR5 Tacoma. It's a tight fit in the console, which is nice because it doesn't wiggle around. I found the install to be quite easy if you go to the manufacturer's website and follow the instructions. The pieces are clearly labeled in the direction they need to go. Just to clarify, this must be assembled piece by piece inside the console. you cannot assemble it outside of the console and hope to install it. It will not work. I would definitely recommend this product if you have a Tacoma. As the console is normally just a wide open box, having the ability to organize things in the compartments makes it much easier to keep the truck tidy. I didn't know I needed it until I got it, but now I wouldn't want to go without it!

Great product for the price. I had so many things I wanted to keep in the center console but it always ended up looking so messy and the heavier items would roll around. Now everything stays put and looks great. I laugh reading review talking about how it doesn't fit and pictures showing it is "too big" when I can see they would have fit if they just put it together properly. The shape of the center console is not perfectly square so to make sure this fit snugly these sides are angled the same way. It will fit but slide the bottom sides in first then the top. (basically put it together in the console and it will fit) Attached are pictures of the fitment as well as Ember helping me "figure it out" Let me know if this was helpful or if you guys have any questions

So, this product is pretty good quality plastics but has indicators of which direction it's supposed to face which I really liked. The lack of directions almost made me rate this as a 4 star but the page says in the product description to assemble INSIDE the console. I was mad at first thinking I had received the wrong product model but figured it out and realized that it was my own mistake; again, this is where directions would've been prudent or even just a sheet of paper included with the package stating, "ASSEMBLE INSIDE CONSOLE BOX, PRODUCT WILL NOT FIT IF ASSEMBLED BEFORE INSIDE CONSOLE". Overall, very pleased with my purchase. Organizes the cords I have along with my Cigar cutter and sunglasses.

wow... makes a total difference in the centre console. so compartmentally organized now that you can find anything. add in the top tray and it total rocks. you need this if you have a tacoma!!!!

Fits my Toyota Tacoma 2017 center console perfectly. Helps with organization and stops everything from becoming a junk pile. If you value organization, I highly recommend.

Helps keep the center console from becoming a mess. Withstands holding common hand tools like ratchet screwdriver, smaller vice grips, ETC. Stuff doesn't clunk around in it which is great. Also bought glovebox shelf and tray and no complaints there either!

This has transformed my endless dump Mary-Poppins-handbag of a center console into a neatly organized, easy to manage usable space. No issues with it what so ever. My only regret is that I didn't get it earlier.

if you have a tacoma. you know that middle storage is huge. unless you put tools in there. this will help clean things up.
