Q: Are the waists made for husky kids? It's practically impossible to find tall slim boys pajamas that aren't skintight in areas for a preteen.

Sorry, but I'm not sure. My grandson is fairly slim and these fit him well. He hates anything tight in the waist. When I stretch them out, there's about another 3 1/2 inches of give, but I don't know if that's enough to fit a more husky frame.
