IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN EASY TO USE CARPET CLEANER/STAIN REMOVER - LOOK NO FURTHER!!!! This REAAALLLLLLLYYYYYYY DOES WHAT IT SAYS ITS SUPPOSED TO DO!!!My jaw DROPPED when I realized this stuff ACTUALLY works. I have tried an endless number of carpet stain removers over the last few years in all kinds of price points. Unfortunately those cleaners made some of my stains and carpet look even worse.(Note: I did purchase an amazing set around 2004/05 on HSN or QVC. That stuff was magic and lasted forever. When I tried to find it again, I couldn’t :( not sure if it’s discontinued or not).I bought this Spot Shot last week and it arrived yesterday. I was hesitant because, as I mentioned, some of the ones I’ve tried have made some stains/carpet itself look even worse.I noticed some new stains after a couple family members stayed over for a couple weeks. I knew I needed to try to remove the stains as quickly as possible. So gave this a try.Like another reviewer said - this can work TOO well!!! It removed the stain I was concerned about (looked like a wine stain) on my white carpet, BUUUUUT it worked a little too well and made the carpet a much lighter shade of white than it’s original color. I figured that’s not AS bad as having an evident stain though! I also probably over-sprayed the area (a little goes a long way) and let it sit there on the carpet for a few minutes - so that was my fault.*After spraying, be sure to blot with a soft cloth.*Because it worked so well, I decided to try it on other areas of the home as well. I used much less this time and it clearly broke down the stains!!!NOW came the ultimate test - I had a nail polish spill from Spring 2018. (It was minutes before I left my home to the airport, so there wasn’t much time to take care of the stain when it first happened. I did try to remove it immediately with soap & water, nail polish remover, but it didn’t work).I’ve tried several removers for this specific stain for 2.5 years. NOTHING WORKED!!! The last one actually made my carpet darker, almost like a faded grey :-/ I knew at that point I’d probably need my carpet professionally cleaned or completely changed out.I used this spray yesterday throughout the nail polish spills. I did let this one sit for a few minutes before blotting considering how long it’s been there. I started blotting and rubbing away, OMG. IT STRIPPED DOWN THE NAIL POLISH!!!!! It took ALOT of time, a lot of energy from my hands and wrist to *spray, blot, repeat*, but IT WORKED!!! I did not think anything could work on THIS stain!!!! I ended up using it on the areas that got “darker” from other removers, and it certainly helped bring my carpet color back to a close original color!!!!24 hours after spraying and blotting the carpet, most areas of my carpet color seem to match the rest of my carpet. I think it needs time to settle back and dry to get to a natural state.I am telling you, this product is a MUST have in your home at ALL times if you have any carpet!!! I am going to order some more to keep on hand (I ended up going through half the bottle!!)If you know someone with carpet who is looking for a stain remover - I suggest you recommend this to them, or better yet, GIFT IT TO THEM!!! I will forever be buying this product for the rest of my LIFE (as long as the formula stays the same and it continues to work like magic!)

This review is for: Spot Shot Professional Instant Carpet Stain Remover with Trigger Spray, 32 OZ. This works well on potty "accidents" in my multiple pet household. I personally like the trigger spary bottle better than the aerosol can and the stream that comes out the can is fast and hard. I highly recommend and will continue to buy.

We have used Spot Shot for years on all types of carpet stains. It is the only truly effective product that successfully removes dog urine every time. Once in a while our off white carpet will turn slightly “whiter” after Spot Shot is applied. Not very noticeable but is way better than yellow urine stains. Also a plus is the lack of urine smell after application.

great so any kind of mess! it can get out any mess my puppy has b=made! I feel like it would have to work for rand stains the kiddos might make as well!

I've used the regular Spot Shot in the past, and I wasn't that impressed. The professional version is the way to go. You have to follow the instructions as I made the mistake of letting it dry, thinking the longer it sits the better. Not so. It works best if it is still wet. I mostly use it for furball stain remover, but I have used it on dirt and mystery carpet stains, all with great results. Haven't tried it on things like grape juice or red wine, however.

Spot shot has always been excellent for helping us to clean up spots. I have not tried it in this type of spray form yet, but have always used in the aerosol. Which I prefer To try.

This is the first time we have purchased Spot Shot in the pump version. It does not remove the stains as quickly or thoroughly as the aerosol cans. I have been frustrated with the aerosol version because you have to hold the can at a precise angle or you end up wasting half of the can. We were never able to use the full can because the gas would run out well before the can was empty of the liquid. That version removed stains so thoroughly that this pump spray has been a major disappointment. Our cat throws up hairballs, and this spray does not remove the stain unless one uses repeatapplications. followed by thorough washing and blotting of the area with water.

I tried three other stain removers, Resolve, Oxi Clean, Scotch Guard none worked on the stain I had in my carpet. Three sprays of Hot Spot, stain gone!!!! Love it!!!

Better than local cleaners. I used it to clean my beige car seats (I have kids) stained with food and juice and they now look brand new

This is no less than magic in a bottle. Can eliminate any stains from anything!

Very expensive but it’s worth it.

Does a great job. Very pleased with product.
