Indoor Purigen Organic Filtration Resin - Fresh and Saltwater 100 ml

I use it regularly, cleans the water fantastically, the charcoal is the one of the past now we have this product, excellent great does what is required and more, quality (make sure you have a mesh bag it makes it easier) try it and you will not be disappointed all the best to this respectable and serious manufacturer (I am not against charcoal There is room for him too.)

So this is absolutely incredible. I placed it into the space of my filter. Basically, I didn’t touch the filter, but within the space of the filter I placed this. It fit. It is a fairly small packet. What happened after, is just amazing. My water was crystal clear. It never got cloudy or yellowish or anything of the sort. It literally solved all my issues with the water; and my fish are alive and well. I have glo fish mostly. The packet is lasting me now for almost a year, and I simply wash it once per month or so. Again, the speed with which my water got cleared and clean, and stayed that way, is within a day or so. This is absolutely recommended for anyone with an aquarium. No smell too by the way. First time user after reading many reviews and mentions here and elsewhere and happy to report it cleared up the tea colored water after adding cholla wood. I had boiled the wood repeatedly so it wasn’t terrible but it made the water cloudy and tea colored. It was easy to add the pre-bagged purigen to the filter and it was very effective. Definitely worth the price - especially as it should be rechargeable to use multiple times in the future. Before and after pictures included, about 48 hours apart. Full disclosure, I put in a new filter to have room for the purigen bag - the one that came with this aquarium was just not big enough to hold it.

Gets tannins out and returns water clear in just a couple of days. Like magic. Lasts a good month for a larger tank, says you can bleach and reuse but I haven't tried that I'd be afraid to. Just popped it into the filter tank. Be careful opening the bag, don't do it with scissors I accidentally cut the first, oh and rinse it before putting it in.

This stuff is amazing for removing tannins and just having overall clearer water in your tank. After I put it in my tank it took less than a day to clear everything up. It easily fit in my Whisper IQ filter with the original filter piece in there still. I will say it did make the tank a bit cloudy for the first few hours but that's because I didn't rinse it like the packaging says to but the cloudiness cleared on its own quickly and the tannins from all my driftwood is gone after only 24 hours!

This product really works and it’s a must to get that extra level clear water in your aquarium. The package is just a small white pouch that appears to be some sort of beads inside it. Make sure you wash it real good before adding it to your filtration system and make sure it’s after your main filters. It should be the last thing your water passes through. You might want to also order water test kits to make sure your tank is cycling correctly before adding this filter. All in all it’s a great product. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s expensive for 1 small pouch that you have to replace monthly. Some say you can regen it but it comes with a risk. It does make the water incredibly clear. This was on a small 10 gallon tank. Photo attached below

This is an amazing product. I have used other product to clear my tank up and nothing worked. I use this product after two days. My tank is pretty and clear. I would recommend this to anyone. It is amazing and the price is right. This is not just a five star product but a 10 star product if you want your tank clean and pretty this is the way to go.

Cleared my tank so fast!!! The bag is already yellow brown after two days. My tank went through some changes so this bag put in some real WORK. I ordered a replacement after day 1. :) I have fine floss, charcoal, sponge, and of course media, in the filtration but this was a game changer for crystal clear water. Apparently, once bag turns brown, it’s done working but you can recharge with 1:1 bleach soak followed by a dechlorinator (prime) soak with tank water if you’re resourceful but I’m nervous about bleach products anywhere near my precious media so I’d prefer to purchase another instead.

Très bon produit efficace eau cristalline, pour mon aquarium de 110 litre je suis agréablement surpris. Je vous le conseille.

works like magic i have used it for like 2 years now in 2026, i have a bio load of 6 fish in a 60 litre setup with canister filter, ran one pack of 100ml for 9 months straight and tille the last day the water was like crystal clear like as it was on day 1, definately go for it if want crystal clear water in your tank, and one thing, in these 2 years no dead fish in my tank just one death and that was due to jumping out of the tank at night 🤣
