Great coffee carafe
We like to keep our coffee hot and do not like burnt coffee if we leave it in our coffee maker. So, we brew our coffee and then move it to a thermos or carafe to keep hot. In the past, we had good carafes, but if you do not brew alot of coffee and the carafe is huge, then the coffee just does not stay warm. We brew about 8-10 cups a day and this carafe is just perfect. The style is wonderful, easy handle to hold and pour and the lid does not whistle or steam like some other carafes we had in the past. Plus, of course, most importantly, it keeps the coffee nice and hot. Definitely a winner!

Excellent Replacement of old carafe!
Bought this to replace an old carafe where the open and close buttons had become worn and difficult to use after 3 years of daily use. That's a pretty good benchmark for me! So far, we're really pleased with the temperature but to be fair to other reviewers, coffee doesn't last much more than about 30 minutes before we have finished the pot. Love the design, love the pour function and it's super easy to wipe out. Would recommend filling halfway with clean water when done, swirling and then pouring with the lid on. This will clear out any coffee trapped in the pouring mechanism. I'd buy it again but I hope I don't have to for at least 3 years!

Nice pot
This is a cute coffee pot. The only thing I don't like is that water gets into the lid when I wash it, so I have to be extra careful to rinse it well. Also, sometimes it drips when I am pouring. I usually take the top clear off when I am pouring into my mug. Otherwise, good for the price.

Don't Understand the Negative Reviews
It's sleek, visually appealing, and does a great job at keeping our coffee hot for a long time. Yes, when the pot gets low you have to hold it almost upside down. I combat this by popping the lid off and drinking the last cup --- not a big deal at all.

Fantastic Thermal, Horrible taste, hard to clean
The look, size, and feel is perfect, and it kept my tea at an acceptable warm temp for 24 hours. It poured well and the lid was very easy to use. From that point, this is great.Unfortunately, there is a chemical/plastic taste that I have been unable to get rid of. For a week I have been soaking, scrubbing, everything to get rid of the taste, but I can't. I've used baking soda, vinegar soak, restaurant grade cleaners and scotch bright; nothing has worked.I see several others have had this issue, so wondering if I have a bad batch, or if some users don't notice the taste if they are using it for stronger things like coffee.

Spout too narrow
I returned it as the spouts too narrow causing coffee to spill out past the cup. Other than that I really liked it.

Keeps my coffee hot
Great carafe. I make my coffee and put my wife's coffee in the carafe. 2-3 hours later my wife's coffee is still very hot. The valve to open and close is not the easiest to clean. I would recommend this carafe.

Great design, Awful smell
Love the size, love the design. It keeps my coffee really hot for about 3-4 hours but only warm after that. That said I’m fine with four hours. It’s a perfect design, just what I was looking for. BUT... The real problem is, and the reason I may return it, is the horrible smell that I can’t get rid of! I do have a bit of a sensitive sniffer on me but everybody else in the family smelled it too and said it was awful. It’s a mix between a metallic smell and some funky, nasty rubber smell that is so strong that the coffee smells like it, and I can’t drink it. I tried letting hot soapy water sit inside of it with the stopper in place for hours, then a ton of baking soda and plain water, then the same cycle again, 3 times now, to no avail. I think it might be the stopper on the top or the gasket, my daughter and husband agree. Whatever it is after eight washings and letting it sit open to the air overnight and everything else I could think of, it still stinks. I’m not feeling hopeful. This item will likely be sent back. I’m giving it another few days open to the air before deciding.
