Sturdy, good construction. Extensions work smoothly. This is the 2nd pole saw I've purchased in the last month. I returned the first one and replaced it with this unit. The first saw used screw together pieces and could extend to 27'. But it was much more time consuming to put together and take apart and VERY wobbly at full extension.. But the reason I returned it was that the saw/pole attachment snapped off during the 2nd use, rendering the unit useless. The other difference was that the 1st unit included a "cutting" scissor head, which this item does not. I'm fine with this as the scissor unit is limited to smaller branches only. This unit seems much more solidly built and hopefully will last many years. Recommended

Nice saw while it lasts. But don’t let a limb fall on it... the shaft will snap like a pretzel. A freak accident while pruning some large limbs, but it is an aluminum pole that may not take any side ways collisions with tree limbs. Update: I just want to thank the seller publicly for his unexpected response to my pole saw demise. It was a freak accident and not the fault of the saw itself. Again I say, it’s a great saw and I was upset when it was destroyed. The telescoping aluminum saw is very strong vertically, that is of course the direction when sawing. But the reality is that a light aluminum pole can snap or break if hit hard laterally as it was by a good sized limb falling on it while I was holding the one end. And although it was not the saws fault, the seller was uncommonly thoughtful/ magnanimous in refunding my purchase price. My original review was mainly to alert other users of what could happen if the pole was struck sideways... never expecting any compensation. I would buy this saw again and I want to upgrade my rating because it is a great product and so are the folks standing behind it. Best regards, a happy buyer.

The saw is very efficient and sturdy. The saw can be taken apart making it easy to store and can easily be put back together. Additionally, this product is very versatile in terms of height as it can be shortened and extended. The blade is also very sharp making it easy to cut through thick branches as well as making the whole process efficient and easy. Overall, this product is one of the best I have come by so far.

Outstanding Performance very sharp blade

This saw went through live oak like butter. It's a mature tree, at that. I've had this pruner for a few months now and I can't say enough about it. The same day I received it, I pruned back an overgrown oak and my father's overgrown ash tree in no time! I'm very happy with it.

First off I did like that I could shorten or lengthen the pole while climbing in tree. But here is what I don’t like about it. 1. Saw blade wasn’t good enough for me so I bought the Silky Replacement Blade HAYAUCHI/TODOKU 390mm. So already a $91 upgrade. 2. Clamps and flare on poles to keep sections from pulling apart from each other weren’t adequate. 3. Once my pole was in two parts trying to get a light clinger I found that the only thing keeping the inner pole from coming out was duct tape. Sure easy fix but still a strange engineering solution to an issue. So not for anyone who is a professional. I would say home owner special and not recommended for heavy usage.

This contraption saved me quite a bit of money in tripping the old maple and pecan trees in the pasture…. Pruned them to perfection I’d say… Hell didn’t even have to climb and that’s a plus I’m guessing….. reckon you won’t find a better pole saw.

I have a 34 year old maple tree in our front yard and the branches have grown to the point of rubbing against the second floor of our house. Previously I had to climb up a 21 foot ladder, with its obvious potential dangers, to prune some of the high branches. I ordered the 18 foot Hunkenr tree pruning pole and received it the day after the order. I assembled it in 5 minutes and within minutes I sawed down a branch 3 inches in diameter, which was 16 feet high, in a manner of minutes. Looking forward to use it on a few more tree branches. Simply an outstanding, high quality tool which I would highly recommend.

J’avais des branches à environ à 16 pieds dans les airs et quand le vent s’élevait ils touchaient à notre fil électrique de la maison, j’ai attendu que le vent cesse et j’ai coupé ces grosses branches, maintenant je suis très très content plus de danger. Lighter weight comparing to fiberglass handle, it will be great if it is over 22' in full extension and with locking design on handles like those more professional pole saws.

I was going to shell out for a power pole saw but I cheaped out and bought a manual cutter. Good decision! This dude really cuts hard and the quality pole extension means solid control of the blade. No oiling, blade changing or battery charging. Just lots of branches on the ground !

This long extendable durable saw worked absolutely perfectly to remove a big blue spruce tree branch that was rubbing up against my soffit. Took me like 2 minutes to put it together and the job was done. Highly recommend. I will use this durable saw many times over the coming decades as my trees grow.
