This is a great product and will buy more when it comes available again! Packaging is typical, not sure what warmth is. I have tried other brands, some are a 3, some are a 4.5, but i'd rate this 6 stars! I bought it to make my own tomato juice - and it is PERFECT! It has a nice red color, great tomato flavor and isnt gritty like some others. This is the one you want if you are looking for tomato powder for juice or soup! It stays mixed, it looks, smells and tastes like good tomatos.extra: to make tomato juice, I use 1/2 cup powder, 4 cups water, a pinch each of carrot, onion and garlic powders (NO salt!). Fully chill it and enjoy!

Good taste and decent quality

I really liked the idea of adding more tomato taste to my homemade tomato sauce, and I felt that this product was a good choice. However, the tomato flavor was not as strong as I'd hoped it would be. I wound up adding about twice as much powder as I had originally intended, and, even then, the tomato flavor was subtle not strong.

I avoid maltidexrin. It is in too many products. I use tomato powder to make my own tomato bouillion. I control the salt and I add no preservatives. I use the bouillion to enhance tomato flavored dishes.I also use the tomato powder in my tomato cheese bread recipes. I found tomato powder in the recipes, replacing tomato sauce, to bake lighter and softer loaves.The flavor is tomato. No additives.

Sadly, my return window has closed, even though I just opened the product now. It is not to my liking. In my opinion, it has a very bad aftertaste. Definitely different from other tomato powders that I have had in the past. Some may like it, but this brand I did not. To each his own. The price was good, and the shipping was fine.

Bought for my work so I could make pizza brats. Everyone loves them and I know buy this through my work regularly.

This product really amps up the taste and color of my tomato based dishes and home canned tomato sauces

I do a lot of Mexican cooking and use the tomato powder in my meat dishes along with adding flavor to my chili gravy. I don't have to take the time to chop a tomato, or use tasteless store bought tomatoes. A great product to keep on hand when you don't have fresh garden tomatoes on hand and want that flavor in your dishes.
