Nice starter set!
Nice set to start out with. Liquids have me dip flu though.

Glitter!!
I love everything about dip powder and this kit is great for beginners. The only warning I would have for anyone is the glitter one. My oh my glitter!! This was my first time with glitter and I gotta say probably my last. The powder is so fine that it just goes everywhere airborne and it was difficult to contain. I only did 2 accent nails with glitter so I cannot imagine doing an entire set. It was all over my hands and fingers and my other nails which then ended up on everything I touched. Not fun. Don’t get me wrong though this kit is great and all the solid colors are awesome to work with.

Great find
I got this specifically for the black and glitter black. I don't think in going to be using the other colors, but my daughter might. There is learning curve to dip nails, but I previously was using the store bought clear acrylic dip system...then painting over it with gel polish. That was super time consuming bc my nails are thin and brittle and short so I file them, apply nail tips, do two coats of dip, file and shape, then base gel, color gel, top gel (more coats if doing the galaxy gel I bought; and black gel takes forever to cure). It's cheaper for me to do them myself than go to a salon, and I wanted to be able to skip the polishing aside from a top gel for shine. The black glitter is more of a grey glitter, but im not complaining. It usually takes me 4/5 episodes on Netflix to do my nails, but with this it only took 2 (and that was with stopping to talk to my husband before he went to work). I will update on how long that stay on, but my running time is 3 weeks with my previous system...so I'm thinking they will last about the same since I use the same glue for my tips as I always did. My only issue is the powder is very rough after activation and very thick. Be very careful applying the base. It it goes on thick. It files and shapes well though.

Doesn’t last as long as I’d hoped
This seemed like a great product at first. Once I got used to it, it was easy to apply. But it doesn’t seem to last as long as it should. The first time I used it, one nail cracked all over so I just redid the nail. A couple days later 2 more nails started cracking. So I figured maybe I should do 3 layers instead of 2. This seemed to KIND of help. I did 2 more sets, both times they only lasted about a week before they started majorly lifting by the cuticles. This is after I made sure I was doing everything right, i’d clean away my cuticles, file my nail bed so it wasn’t smooth, no matter what I do it doesn’t seem to keep they nails from cracking at the ends. I e watched a few tutorials and from what I can tell, I’m doing everything I’m supposed to. Don’t get me wrong, it last a lot longer than nail polish and keeps my nails from breaking, I just wish they’d last more than a week.

Great starter kit
Great starter kit for beginners. As I am just starting out doing my own nails, this kit was easy to use. I still have a few things to learn but that application took about 45 mins. In the future I can see it taking less, about 30 mins. A few things I’ve learned with the first application is to not flood the cuticle because wherever you apply the base the powder will stick to. The other tip is to wait about 30 secs till the powder dries before knocking the excess dust off. The last tip is to test the colors on the top of the lid before application because I thought the colors would be lighter than they are but I was too lazy to take it off and try another color lol. As long as you follow the instructions in the kit or even watch a YouTube video on application you will be fine! Definitely worth getting! I do not know about removal but I will update when I take these off.

“Dip flu” is what it’s called when this makes you sick
This got me extremely sick and I had to take several days off work because I was coughing so hard I was starting to dry heave, had another constantly running out my nose like a faucet. Apparently, this is called “dip flu” and is a well known side effect of this nail system.I tried again by going outside for full ventilation and wore a mask and only did three nails for minimum exposure and got even more sick than the first time. All in all, I spent 5 sick days and went in to work sick for two days and was constantly changing my mask and hacking all over people trying to apologize and explain it wasn’t COVID, it was my manicure. Then just to add insult to injury, my right pointer finger nail snapped right off.Worst purchase I’ve ever made in my life.

Works just as well as the expensive ones
The pic is from my second time using this brand of kit as well as my second time ever doing dip powder. This one lasted 15 days before it started lifting on the sides a bit and began catching my hair. I have two different ones for a variety of colors and learned some easy techniques to keep it from being too bulky from YouTube for my second try and it made it so much better. I tried an accent with glitter and that was a bit of a learning curve too. Just tried Nailboo brand this week to compare and they went on EXACTLY the same. I don't know about other cheaper brands but this one so far has held up right along with Nailboo for me. I'm still very much a beginner though.

DIY made easy
I have gotten a lot of compliments on my nails. I can tell they’re not done professionally but not sure if others can unless I tell them. I screenshotted a pic of the colors from here because when I opened the package and saw the colors were numbered it was hard to tell what number was what color which was a bit frustrating. I’ve gotten a week and a half to two weeks with them on. Once they start growing out my hair gets caught in them or they just fling right off lol. But it’s definitely worth the money to do fun nails AT HOME.
