Curious about the potential positive effects this supplement may have for my health, I bought it as a first-time purchaser. So far, I've been taking 2 capsules per day, for approximately 10 days straight. I've been weight training intensely for a cycle of 3 on and 4 days off, and walking approximately 5 miles for 5/6 days out of 7. So far, I have noticed that I feel less bloated, that my bowel movements are more frequent, my energy levels feel much more stable and crucially, my blood sugar levels feel a lot more stable and I am less drawn to snacking and binge eating. Not weighed myself yet, but will do after the 3 months period. So far, so great.

I would say it’s a little hard to review the benefits of berberine’s most celebrated benefits without a visit to the doctors, but I can comment that I do seem to be less hungry, and less hangry, which pleases my partner no end. I haven’t lost any extra weight than my already slow-but-steady progress (combined with exercise) which I’m a wee bit disappointed about as I could stand to lose a few pounds. I don’t have trouble taking tablets but even I would say these are quite sizeable. My picture is taken on a standard size cotton pad for scale. Provided you push your chin forward, not back, swallowing the capsule is easy enough, but I can appreciate a daunting task for the sensitive amongst us, hence taking a star off.

Great for reduced hunger they work well but only 3 stars as I have tired much better ones than these easy to swollow good for the price but better alternatives out there

Been looking for something to help reduce my regular sugar cravings as the binging impacts on me losing weight, and so far so good. Took 1 capsule for the first week, then 2 capsules for the second week, and haven’t felt the urge to binge, which is brilliant for me. Have also lost 2lbs. Will be reordering, and fingers crossed it continues!

Bearing in mind that the smartest practitioners say berberine is not to be used long-term without a break (kills good as well as bad bugs), I (am now taking a break but) was using berberine long-term and needed to try out some less-expensive offerings as it can really mount up. Considering how relatively inexpensive these are, they are pretty good. They look like proper berberine (bright yellow hue). More importantly, they seem to have the same effect in my body in terms of helping with gut issues. I think I would probably get the more expensive berberine some of the time, but this does seem to do the job also.
