Transmission Oil Cooler Hose

Worked as indicated. Used to replace a rotted section of steel transmission cooler line. Cut out the rotted section and replaced with this hose, double clamped on each end. No problems and no more leaks. A little expensive for what it is, but I wanted a line rated for hot oil, which this is, and ,my local auto supply didn't stock it.

The other review is wrong, it is 25 feet long, the problem however is that while it is 3/8", it's only half the wall thickness of regular 3/8" hose. there's more inner thread fibers compared to regular 3/8" hose, but that doesn't make up for the severe lack of thickness. also it seems to be a denser rubber or vinyl type of material, very peculiar. I do not recommend this. however the seller " Auto Parts Patriot" refunded my money quickly after I brought up the issue that it was only half the thickness of normal 3/8" hose. Great seller. the hose would be ok if you are ok with this issue. myself personally I feel unsafe using it for transmission fluid because longevity wise it could crack and leak much easier in time since it's much thinner

First off, the description says this is 25ft long. Of course, it is really the price per foot - so don't expect to get a 25 ft roll for this price. I've always trusted the Gates name for hoses and belts, this appears to be a quality product as well. Only time will tell
