Easiest dog door solution!
This was one of my best purchases. It’s so nice for my dog to go in and out of our screen door now without me having to open the door constantly. It was time consuming putting together, but not hard. I did have to take off my screen door, cut and opening and install on the screen. It’s worked great for my Lab!!

You will be Pleased, Their Perfect!!!!
Very nice door!! I seldom leave a review, but I am totally impressed with the quality and how easy and smooth this door closes and opens. It has hard plastic and screws which work great and make it sturdy since the screws go through the screen. It took a while to get installed I put it in the corner and cut the screen out to fit with it on and most of the screws in, I then had to take it off and trim back the screen enough that it was recessed behind frame, if you don’t do this metal needle like screen spurs will puncture and poke your cars nose since they have to sniff it every time, after this I put the screws back in the same holes I had made in the screen originally and used a tiny wrench to hold the nut and a Phillips head to screw the screws back in. It has a small magnet in bottom middle of the frame pointing up and one in the middle bottom of the flap door and it makes it stop exactly closes every time. Very pleased don’t buy a cheap snap on door these with plastic frames and nuts and bolts and the way to go you will be happy with it!. My retarded cat still has not figured out how to operate it so I have to manually open it for her like a butler, I hope she figures it out soon and quits being apprehensive like it’s going to electrocute her. I should have known getting a low class hillbilly cat free would end up being a problem, I’m going to get a smart cat with papers next time.

Looks nice, easy to install
Let me preface this by saying, I am not a newbie when it comes to cat screen doors. My cats are quite rough on them, so I hope this one lasts as long as it's predecessors. That being said, the previous ones were snap in that I would have to add drilled holes to bolt on to make them last as long as possible. Having holes already drilled was nice and I really like the white frame. Mounting was easy even though I had to be careful about covering the existing hole in the screen. The too long screws are absolutely necessary for original installation but can be easily replaced. I picked up a package of #6 32 X 1/2". Although thicker than the pre-drilled holes, they screwed easily though the plastic frame without drilling a larger hole and the nut snugged up without any excess. Since I have extra, I may add another in each corner.

This is a game changer!
Perfect for Both small and large dogs. The heavy plastic flap has a magnetic closure (even though our big dog tends to hang half in and half out). We had to teach the smaller one how to really push it open with both paws so if you have a very tiny dog it may be difficult for them. Total game changer though. Hubby is a handyman so easy install for him. I would suggest hiring someone with correct tools for the job to install as you have to cut into a screen door to complete that. The quality is top notch and it is extremely sturdy material! Recommend!

Great cat door
Great pet door, easy to install. I put it in a screen door from my porch to the outside. I did not take the screen door off, I put the pet door on the screen door where I wanted it and used a utility knife to cut the screen out. I put the two side together in the screen door and put one bolt in at the top to keep it in place and then just slowly worked the rest of the bolts in. You will have to push the bolts through the screen but patience is a virtue. I used an small awl to push through first and that seemed to help. I left the flap out while doing this for easier access but I left the top bolts loose and slid it in just before tightening everything up. Didn't like the long bolts, the cats fly through the pet door from the outside so I put the heads outside. But that could be solved in a number of ways, a dab of silicone over the sharp end may work. Great door, the other snap in door lasted about 6 months, bolt in is the only way to go.

Missing Hardware, but OK Design.
The design is OK. It functions fine . . . However, it arrived with NO mounting screws; had to go to the hardware. . . . Finally, the magnet fell out of the frame and I had to glue it back. If this happens to you, pay close attention to the orientation; it will repel (not attract) the swinging door if mounted improperly; test before applying the glue.

With a smarter dog it should work.
Looked good installed easily. Unfortunately my dog is special. She thinks it easier to plow through the screen. Or, is she genius... now there's a gaping hole to run through without the need to aim for a doorway.

Unsafe design
This door is quite heavy, which makes it unsafe for dogs. I have a new dog who is learning how to use the dog door, so she is timid going through it. She put her head through it one morning, got spooked, and tried to pull it back out. She got her head stuck between the door and the frame and couldn't get it out because she kept trying to go backward to get away from the situation. She was choking herself at this point. I was able to push the door up so she could get her head out. I'm just glad it happened while I was there. The door is very thick and heavy, which created the problem.
