Q: Where exactly is the battery fixed please? Cant seem to find it.

You have to unscrew the top of the engine and the battery fits in there - need a very wee screwdriver for it.

Q: Which batteries does it use?

It was bought for a present last year not sure on the battery it takes ,but was a great present the kids loved it and it's now going to be a train that comes out every year and goes around the bottom of the xmas tree .

As far as I know it’s 13 pieces of track which when assembled forms a circular track about 3ft in diameter.

Lovely thing made with poor materials

I have no connection to the supplier.I wish I were not writing this. We got it as a present for a very young child who likes things which move. Putting the track together and adding the rolling stock made us think she would love it. But on opening the battery compartment of the engine, the screw simply turned to metal shavings. An attempt to open via another route just led to bits snapping off.A good looking product, but not worth the problems. We are returning it, and will pay a little more for an alternative elsewhere.

Not bad but...

Item is as pictured.Can't complain at that price...but it is a circular rail track with no straights.Quite hard to set the engine and tender and carriage on the rails.

I rodered this set and it was not small enough for what I needed it for. It is a good set and I am sure when my grandsons are bigger they will love it.
