Thought the rolls would be a lot bigger. I’m making beanies for my nieces and nephews and the rolls just aren’t big enough. Perfect for making Pom poms at the top of beanie but definitely not enough to create a full beanie. Couldn’t even complete a beanie for my newborn. But the quality is incredible. Very soft and beautiful colors

This yarn is good and soft!! Colors are very beautiful and vibrant. Kinda itchy if you wanna knit something for yourself or your kid. It’s gets more itchy and rough after you wash it even with a conditioner. I decided to try to knit a dress for winter for 3 month old baby. Every color is one full skein. I love the colors!!! The only "but" is that they are tiny. Good for kids to learn and for a very smal projects!!

When ordering this I DID NOT see it said these where Mini's. Lol, BUT I'm not mad at myself for not seeing that. There's a crap ton of them and they are totally soft. For the price it's really truly worth it. Considering if these where all regular sized sheins it would be close to maybe 500$ in product. They truly are great for mini projects. Or you could just use a bunch of them and make one big project. The only hick up I had with these where all it has on the card bored holding ring, is the brand name on it. It doesn't say what size knitting needle or crochet hook you need for the yarn or each yarn. (They should all be the same size yarn, but it doesn't say if they are or not. So I don't know if they all use the same size knitting needle/crochet hook or NOT.) Now I'm sure it might say what size tools yu need in the actual "about info" on the page. BUT, these could be a gift for someone. Or anything how are they suppose to know where to find what size? I think the size crochet hook and knitting needles should start being put on the card bored band. Other than that THIS SET IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, the price is amazing the yarn is amazing and super super soft I was a bit shocked when I felt it actually. I DO PLAN ON ORDERING MORE!

Bonbons are an assorted group of colored soft yarns packaged in tiny skeins. This yarn idea was originally manufactured by Lions Brand and this is a cheaper knock-off. Both Lions Brand and this brand have the exact same yardage, and quality of the yarn is comprobable to Lions Brand acrylic yarns. The photos are misleading, as the amount of yarn is very small (only 28 yards each), and the photo makes them look a little more substantial in size. The yarns are not wrapped solid like regular 4-ply worsted yarn skeins; they are wrapped very loosely. You really can't do much with 28 yards of yarn unless you are doing crewel or some other stitchery, colorwork, embroidery or embellishments. The assortment of colors is great, but again, there isn't enough to really use if you crochet or knit. I was looking for yarn to cover 1" round wooden beads to make a funky modern necklace. I'm not sure one skein will even cover one bead. This yarn is acrylic NOT cotton. (Lion's Brand comes in a cotton version and an acrylic version.) Having said all of this, the price is good for what you receive, they come packaged in a box for easy storage, and they are machine washable and dryable.

I ordered the variety pack of yarn but did not watch the size of each skein. They are very small. It all worked out because I wanted a rainbow of colors for a hat i was making, and there was enough of each color to make 3 hats! And there were some colors I didn't use at all , but since they are the muted colors, i am sure i can use them in another project! Thank you, but make sure you warn the buyers of the size!!!

I don’t understand all the bad reviews about the size of these skeins. They are very specific in the description that these are very small quantities of yarn, perfect for very small projects. I use them to make little dolls, little animals or little pouches for my young granddaughter to play with. They are also great for knitting or crocheting little flower or bow appliqués for sweaters or other knitwear. Anything where you just need 10-20 yards of yarn and don’t want to spend 10 bucks on a whole skein. The yarn is good quality for the price and for the small tasks they are intended to be used for. They are a true DK weight yarn for knitting amigurumi.
